How To Get Controllers

Whether you’re completingweekly commissions, participating inPublic Crisis Events, or purchasing fromvendors, there are several reliable ways to get your hands on Controllers. Here, we go in-depth on how.

Complete Commissions

To complete commissions,hold ‘Tab’andselect ‘Summon V.‘Once V spawns,press ‘F’to interact andchoose ‘View Commissions.‘You’ll find a list of weekly commissions, with up tofive available each week. Completing each commission grantsfour Controllers.To start a commission, simply click on it.

To track your commission quests, open yourmap, go to thetasks tab, and scroll to the “Commissions"sectionat thebottom. Click the commission you want to track, and it will appear on your main HUD until completed.

Participate In Public Crisis Events

Participating in Public Crisis Events also earns you Controllers, with amaximum ofthree per dayobtainable through this method.

To see which events are currently active in your world,open the mapandpress ‘X’on your keyboard. This will display a list of options; selecting any willreveal the location of the Crisis Event.Some events allow for direct teleportation, but if that’s not an option, teleport to the nearest location and travel by vehicle to reach the event.

To find out if a Public Crisis Event offers a Controller as a reward, hover over it on the map and read the details. Note that not all events will provide this reward.

Purchase From Nisa Or Severin

At the Settlements,Nisa, a young girl in a pink dress with a jellyfish-like head, sells Controllers for100 Sproutlets.Severin, in a long purple cape with a Deviant named Humpy, sells them fortwo Stellar Planula.

How To Use Controllers

Controllersunlock better rewardsfromdungeon bosses,with one used per silo or boss reward. Since Hard mode offers better rewards than Normal, and Pro mode offers the best rewards, it’s most effective to use Controllers in Pro mode. However, we’ve never run out, so there’s no need to ration them unless you’re doing quite a lot of dungeons.
