If you strike enemies while in the air, your kettle reaches a boiling state, allowing you to use the next level of your Daruma’s effect. To further upgrade both the base and boiling state effects of your Darumas, you’ll need Awakening Ink.
Where To Find All The Awakening Inks
There are a total of eight Daruma, each providing different effects in battle.You normally use the first level of these effects.If your kettle is in a boiling state, you use the next level effect. If youtalk to Danno, the owner of the Daruma Shop in Sakura City, andgive him an Awakening Ink, he will upgrade one of your Daruma’s levels.

After defeating the boss Kabuto Yakuzunaat the top of Megumi Mountain, you can find this Ink inside the chest that appears. To fight this boss,you first need to complete Toshi’s training.
Then, you mustfind the Scuffed Gunbaion the mountain and take it to Gyoji in the Kabuto Dojos. After completing the two challenges in the dojo, you can fight Kabuto Yakuzuna.
After obtaining the Grappling Hook,go to the north of Midori Forest.As you progress, you will need toovercome obstacles blocking the path of the bride group.
After clearing all the obstacles, you willfight a boss named Kitsuri.After defeating this boss, you will obtain this Ink from the chest you receive.
After obtaining the Ice Picks, you willfight the boss duo Tengu Duowhile trying to capture Waka in the Ice Caverns. Defeating them will earn you this Ink from the treasure chest.
Meet Moro in Megumi Mountain. Then,learn the Mochi Mallet ability in Kitsune Burrows.Return to Megumi Mountain anduse the Mochi Mallet to enter the Ice Caverns.
Find both of Moro’s childrenthere. After locating them,return to Megumi Mountain and speak with Moro.He will thank you with an Ink as a reward.
To get this ink, you mustdefeat the boss Joroguma in Kitsune Burrows.After defeating the boss, there will be an Awakening Ink in the treasure chest you receive.
