InJourney to the Savage Planet, your greatest ally is your 3D printer. New upgrades are essential for surviving on this alien planet and unraveling its mysteries. They allow you to enhance your weapons and unlock abilities that improve your mobility. One of the materials needed for these upgrades is Alien Alloy.

However, unlike other materials, Alien Alloy is not easy to find. To locate them, you’ll need to defeat fierce alien monsters, scan glyphs scattered around, or feed and explode slime-like creatures. If you’re determined to find all 32 Alien Alloys, this guide is prepared for you.

Where To Find All Alien Alloys

There are atotal of 32 Alien Alloysin the game. While you can drop other materials required for upgrades from defeating monsters,Alien Alloys do not drop this way.To find them, you generally need tosearch chests located in specific areas.

When you find all the Alien Alloys,you will unlock the achievement called ‘$600 Man’.

The ways to open these chests vary: for some, you’ll need to fight, while for others, you’ll need to scan certain things to unlock them. Here are the locations of all the Alien Alloys:

Description

First, go outside the Javelin andhead to the ice caves, exiting at the other end. Proceedtowards the massive skeleton to the east.Then, turn north. Use the Springy Egg Sac on the ground tojump and reach the top of the icy platform above.The Alien Alloy is inside the chest there. To open it, you need todestroy the yellow Vaultivore Pimples on the ice pillarson this platform. Once you destroy all three, the chest in the middle will open.

Then, turnyour back to the skeleton and head southeast.Cross the river andclimb onto the icy rocks on the other side, then jump down. Here, you willfind the entrance to a cave surrounded by crystals.

Inside this cave, named Kayn’s Icy Refuge, the path will split into two.Jump to the right sideand follow the path. You will find yourself at the edge of a ledge; instead of jumping down, jump to the ledge across from you andcrouch through the narrow passage ahead.In the area you reach, you will find an Ornate Alien Chest in the center.

To open it, you need to unlock the three Ornate Alien locks around it:

An ornate alien chest that is standing in the center of an ice cavern in Journey To The Savage Planet.

First, teleport to Towering Crystals.Turn southeastand follow the path,keeping the cliff wall to your left.Continue a bit further and pass through the cave entrance, continuing to follow the path. After a bit more walking,stand between two trees and turn towards the cliff wall.You will see a narrow passage. Jump across and crouch to pass through. You willenter a lava-filled room.The Alien Alloy will be waiting for you on the other side. Use the stones that intermittently sink into and rise out of the lava to reach the other side.

Start by teleporting to Meteor Crater.Head west towards the rampand jump across to the cliff on the other side.Defeat the Pikemanders around the watery areahere. Once you have defeated them, the chest in the watery area will open, and you can collect the Alien Alloy inside.

Start from the chest where you collected the previous Alien Alloy. Head south towards the Vitality Plantyou see and jump down from there. After jumping down,proceed northwest,and you willfind the entrance to a cave corridor with lava.Use the grapple flower to reach the other side of the lava. There, you will find the chest containing the Alien Alloy.

To collect this Alien Alloy, you need tounlock the Proton Tether upgrade.Start at Towering Crystals.Turn east and grapple to the flower at the edge of the ledgeto climb up. Then, grapple to the floweron the ledge on the south cliff.Next, grapple to the flower to the southeast, and use jump thrusters to reach andlatch onto the distant flower to the north.

The player is looking at a ramp that is located between pink trees in Journey To The Savage Planet.

After that, grapple to the flower to the south, then to the flower to the north. Finally, grapple to the flower to the southwest, andthen to the flower to the southeast to reach the open area.In this open area,follow the path to the south, and you willfind a slime called an Osmotic Cube.Kick the slime to move it towards the open area.

To prevent it from falling into the gap,use a charged slap.Here, shoot the Vitality Plants andslap the slime to push it towards the dropped Health Essences.As it eats them, it will grow. Eventually, it will explode, revealing the Alien Alloy inside.

Return to the open areawhere you killed the slimefor the previous Alien Alloy. In this open area,grapple to the flower to the left of the two Vitality Plantsstanding side by side to climb onto the rock. Continue jumping over the other rocks and pink crystals. After progressing far enough, you willreach an area with four Pufferbirds.

Grapple to the floweron the ledge above to the southand continue going south across the ledges. You willfind a chest containing the Alien Alloy behind the waterfall.To open it, you need to destroy the yellow pimples.Climb onto the rock pillar nearby and look aroundto find three of them. Shoot and destroy them to open the chest.

The player is looking at a grapple flower that is located on a ledge in Journey To The Savage Planet.

From the location of the previous Alien Alloy,jump down to where the waterfall flows.There will be two Pikemanders there. After defeating them,stand on the river and look north.The chest containing the Alien Alloy will be unlocked.

First, teleport to the Cliffs of Mt. Gzarfyn.Follow the water path to the south.While you continue south, you willfind the edge of the cliff where the water flows down.Climb onto the rock on the right andlook down to see the chestcontaining the Alien Alloy.

An osmotic cube is standing between the grasses in Journey To The Savage Planet.

After unlocking the Bombegranate Stabilizer and Triple Thrusters upgrades,teleport to Meteor Crater.Head north and carefullyjump to the left when you reach the narrow bridge-like rocks.You willfind a cracked wallthat you can break using a Bombegranate.

After breaking the wall,enter the dark cave.Proceed by jumping across the ledges without descending to the cave floor.Use the Triple Thrusters to reach long-distance ledges, and at the end, you will see the Alien Alloy next to the Unknown Explorer’s Log.

The player is looking at a waterfall and there is a chest behind it in Journey To The Savage Planet.

After unlocking the Launch Boosters and Triple Thrusters upgrades,teleport to Meteor Crater and head southwest.Move southeast from the area with Pufferbirds,following the downhill path.Look north, andclimb the rocks towards the cliff where the waterfall is flowing.

Looking northeast, you willsee a narrow passage on the cliff wall to the left of the waterfall.To reach it, proceed north andjump onto the long rock.The passage will now be to your east, and you will be below it.Use the Launch Boosters to jump up to the height of the passage, then use the Triple Thrusters to jump again while in the air to reach the passage.

Inside, you will find a lava-filled corridor.At the other end of the corridor,you will find the Alien Alloy along with the Unknown Explorer’s Log.

Start by teleporting to Planetary Flotsam. Head directlysouthwest to reach the Alien Tablet.Continue southeasttowards the second large purple plantyou see, called the Bulwark Bush.

Once you are next to it,head east to the open area with two large purple plants.From there,go south to the stone pillar with the Sproutlookon top and defeat it. you may use other rock pillars and hide in the grass to do this. Afterward, from the side of the Sproutlook’s pillar,jump down northwest and you will see the chest.

To find this Alien Alloy, start at the Fungi of Si’ned VII teleporter. When yougo south, you will seethree separate waterfalls flowing into a cave below.Jump down to the lowest part where the waterfalls converge. Climb up to the ledge one level above andlook north to see a cave entrance.

At the end of this cave,you will find a slimewaiting for you. Just like with the previous slime,slap it and throw it into one of the poolswhere the waterfalls flow. Drop Carbon from Pufferbirds or seeds from metallic seed bags into the pool with the slime. Once it collects enough, it will explode, revealing the Alien Alloy inside.

For this, teleport to Festering Chasm.In the center of the southwest area, you will see the Alien Alloy. However, you need todefeat three Boomerbangsin the area to obtain it. Once they are defeated, the chest will open.

To obtain this Alien Alloy, you need to have unlocked the Blight Bomb Stabilizer and Advanced Prothon Tether.Teleport to Festering Chasm. After moving a bit north, you willfind a cave to the northwest filled with amber rocks.

Your goal here is touse the Blight Bombs to destroy all the amber.Then, use the Advanced Prothon Tether topull the Big Ol’ Nuts onto the green, poisonous smoke ventsand close the vents. Once all the poisonous vents are closed, the vault containing the alloy in the center of the room will open.

Exit the cave where the previous alloy was locatedand look west. You willsee a mushroom on the cliff, with a grapple flower to its left. Grab onto the flower,then jump onto the mushroom to the north.After that, jump to the mushroom northeast and then grab onto the flower northwest.Look north to find another grapple flower, and use the mushrooms to reach it.

Once there, jump from the two mushrooms to the north andreach the area northwest.Pass under the large rock arch in the southwest of this area, and you will see the chest ahead. There aretwo yellow pimples to the southwest and north of the chest.The third pimple isbehind the cracked wall to the northwest; use a Bombegranate to destroy it. This will open the chest.

Teleport to Festering Overhang.Jump down from the northwestdirection. To open the chest, you need to find three glyphs:

Teleport to the Fungi of Si’ned VII.Follow the path northwest.After passing under the rock arch,go through the spiked, mouth-like passageto the south.Throw a Bombegranate at the cracked wallof the cave across from the passage to break it. Inside the cave, you will find the alloy. To open it,you need to defeat the monsters in the areain front of the cave andrescue the drone.

Start from the Fungi of Si’ned VII teleporter.Follow the path northand pass under the rock arch. Continue northuntil you reach the shrine.Keep going north andjump down from the watery area.After jumping down, you need toreach the end of the canyon-like area.To open the chest at the end of this area, you will need todefeat several Jellywafts.

Start from the Fungi of Si’ned VII teleporter.Follow the path northand pass under the rock arch. Continue northuntil you reach the shrine.Turn away from the shrine and head southwest. You willsee a grapple flower on top of a pink mushroom above you; use it to climb up.

On top of the large pillar to the north, you will find a chest holding the alloy. There aretwo yellow pimples on the pillar—destroy them. The third pimple is located to the south;move back a bit and look at the stone on top of the pillarfrom a distance to see it.

Jump to the closest mushroom anduse Launch Boosters to jump up.While in the air,use Triple Thrusters to jump again and grapple to the flower on the pillar, allowing you to climb up and reach the alloy.

Start from the Fungi of Si’ned VII teleporter.Enter the large tree trunk-shaped caveyou see to the southeast. Use grapple seeds and barnacles toclimb to the top of the trunk.Exit the trunk cave from the south andjump onto the first pink mushroomyou see.

To the east, above and outside the trunk, you will see barnacles.Throw grapple seeds at themto climb even higher on the trunk. You will find the alloyamong the Blight Bomb Plants.

Teleport to Festering Chasm.Head south and use the purple mushrooms on the leftof the cliff toreach the cave entrance at the southeast on top.Move east to the stone platform andproceed to the vitality plant.

From the cave floor, looking northeast,you’ll see a cracked wall.Use a Bombegranate to break it. Inside, you’llfind an area with electrical columns.Use Shock Fruit to pass through the gate. At the end of this area, you’ll find the alien alloy and the Unknown Explorer’s Log.

Teleport to the Xerophilous Landing. You willsee a chest containing the alloy to the southwest.To open it, you need to destroy three yellow pimples:

For this alloy, start from the Xerophilous Landing teleporter.Pass through the shattered arc to the westand use the grapple rails to reach the floating island on the other side.Continue westfrom there, and you willcome across an area with Sproutlooks.

Hide in the grass, wait for the right moment, and thentake out both Sproutlooks on the rock columns.When you are on the second rock column with a Sproutlook,look down to the east, and you will see that the chest containing the alloy.

For this alloy, when you firstarrive at the Repaired Teleporter, it will teleport you into the air while it is still broken. After you land, you willfind yourself on a battlefield, and the ‘Beam Me Up Again’ quest will start.

For this quest, you need toeliminate all the enemies in the area.Afterward, the quest will ask you toretrieve the alloy from Vaultivore, thus completing the quest and fixing the Repaired Teleporter upon your return.

Start from the Repaired Teleporter. Head to theedge of the cliff to the west.Turn south andjump to the area left of the grapple flower.This will lead you to the location of the alloy chest. You will need to find three yellow pimples.

Teleport to the Pillars of Xorgana.Pass under the rock arch to the west,and thenjump onto the floating column below to the west, situated between two pillars. Turn east and you willsee a cave entrance.

Enter the cave anduse grapple seeds on the barnacles on the wallto reach the end of the cave. However, this will not be enough as retrieving the Alloy will be challenging due to the Schnozols on the wall, so be cautious.

For this Alloy,you will need the Quadruple Thrustersupgrade. Start at the Pillars of Xorgana teleporter.Pass under the rock archto the west, and thenjump southwest to the large floating islandahead using Quadruple Thrusters.

Once on the island, you willsee a large rock in the center of the island.Jump onto it. From the top of this high rock,look northwest, and you will see a slimebelow. Knock the slime down. Feed the slime with resources from the Floopsnoots and Carbon Veins you collected below, and it will explode, revealing the Alloy

Start at the Infernal Cauldron teleporter.Jump from the top of the mountain and head southto reach the floating island using the grapple rail plants. There will be an ornate alien chest here, and you’ll need to scan three glyphs to open it.

This will allow you to open the chest.

Start at the Infernal Cauldron teleporter. To the east, you’llsee an open area filled with lava craters.Under the rock arch to the east of this area, you’ll find a chest containing the alien alloy. However, before you’re able to get to it,you’ll need to face a long battle against Kapyenasin this area.

Teleport to Crackling Pedestal.To the east of the teleporter, you’ll see a chest containing the alloy, but you’ll need to defeat the Schnozos to open it.

Teleport to Tears of T’bo.Move northeast and pass under the rock arch, then continue along the path. Ahead, you willsee another rock arch to the northwest;pass under it andreach the large floating islandusing Quadruple Thrusters. On the northeast side of this area, there will be a chest containing the alloy, butyou’ll need to defeat several Pikemandersto open it.
