InTravellers Rest, you gather a variety of resources for the development of your Tavern. As you progress through the game, you will need to expand your place further to cater to more customers. You can also build a few more facilities at your Tavern if you have enough materials.

Mortar is definitely one of the most useful resources in the game. You will require a lot of it during Building mode while you are building your Guest Rooms and decorations. Mortar is also used for the construction of facilities such as the Barn and Chicken Coop.

The Mixing Tank is available for purchase at Woody’s shop.

Travellers Rest is in Early Access, so the content in this guide might change in the future.

How To Get Mixing Tank

To make a Mortar, you must first obtain the Mixing Tank to craft it, which you canbuy from Woody’s Shopin the town’s market. It will cost youfour gold coins and 32 silver coins, and while it may seem daunting for a beginner, there are some ways toearn money faster.

After purchasing it, you can place it in yourStone Workstation area. We recommend you place it near your well, so it will be quicker to grab some water in your empty bucket required for making Mortar.

The Mortar crafting option is shown in the Mixing Tank menu.

How To Make Mortar

Mortar is crafted in your Mixing Tank, but first, you need to gather a few materials. You needfour stones and two polished stonesto make it. you may use your Stone Workstation to make some Polished Stones.A bucket full of wateris also required to mix in the resources in the Tank.

If you don’t have a Stone Workstation on your land, you can buy it from Woody’s shop for two gold coins and 25 silvers.

Mortar takes a while to craft, however, if you prep materials earlier, it will be faster to make it easily. We recommend youmine Stone dailyso you never run out of materials. It’s also best to prepare a few polished stones beforehand. Since there are five slots in the Mixing Tank, you may craft a total often Mortarsat a time.
