You finally have your own adorable pet, but it wouldn’t hurt to get them a few playmates inWeyrdlets. While obtaining another pet is pretty easy, it isn’t exactly cheap. To get another Weyrdlet on the island, you must be willing to pay the steep price of 1,000 Jellystars.

Minipets are a much cheaper and just as adorable alternative to purchasing another Weyrdlet. These creatures are perfect for keeping your Weyrdlet company while you’re away or working in Desktop mode. They may be small, but minipets can have a huge impact on your other pets and liven up any island.

How To Get Minipets

Minipets can bepurchased from Calcubots' General Storefor 80 Jellystars. While there aremany ways to get some Jellystars, the most straightforward method ispaying for Jellystars from Calcubot.

Jellystars are purchased withactual currency.The cheapest bundle can be purchased for$0.99 USD to obtain 25 Jellystars.

Currently, there areonly two minpetsto choose from. There are the Monster Nest Spawn and the Cat To Be Seeked. Minipets serve as companions for your Weyrdlets, butwon’t require the same level of careand attention.

Minipets can’t be fed, pet, or picked up. However, minipetswill perform a unique actionwhen clicked on.

How To Assign Minipets

Start byselecting the Pets optionfrom the Bottom Right Hot Corner. Then, choose the petyou’d like to give a minipet.Click on theSet minipet option, then choose the minipet you’d like to give your Weyrdlet.

If you ever want to remove a minipet,head back to the Pet menuand choose the Set minipet option. In the bottom left corner,click the Unassign Current Mini Pet buttonto remove the minipet.

Now your minipet will appear on the island and closelyfollow the Weyrdlet they’re assigned to.Your minipet will evenappear in Desktop mode.
