There’s no doubt in the fact thatWuthering Waves’exploration is one of the most fun parts of the game. The developers have taken special measures to not make it feel tedious to move around with no stamina consumption while running and being able to run on the cliffs.
All of this makes it quite fun to solve various puzzles around the world, and the Guide Crystal is just one of them. Found in the Court of Savantae Ruins area, you’ll have to get two of these Guide Crystals if you want to unlock the bountiful treasure.
How To Get The First Guide Crystal
If you look at the map to the right side of the Court of Savantae Ruins, you’llnotice a couple of white square-shaped icons. These are the places you’ll have to hit up if you want to get Guide Crystals, with the northernmost one being the first since it’s an easier puzzle. When you get to the location, you’ll see one cube and a bunch of platforms to place it on.
You’ll also notice two circular plateswith one having two blue lights on it initially. You essentially have to place the cube on the platform that correlates to one of these blue light positions while standing on the other one yourself. This means that you’d want to activate the top and the bottom right buttons.
When you’re looking at the door of the ruins in this area, it’s considered as the front direction. Thebutton closest to the door is the top while the furthest away is the bottom.
Once you activate both the buttons, you’ll unlockanother cube and the second pedestal will have three blue lights now. You have to activate the top left, bottom left, and top right buttons for the second part with the two cubes and yourself. This will open the door and you’re able to get your first Guide Crystal.
How To Get The Second Guide Crystal
For the second Crystal, you need to head to the square icon to the right of theMech Abomination bosson the map. Here, you’ll first notice some thorns going all around the building. You’llalso find an explosive on the right side of this building, which can be used to get rid of all these thorns, which will unlock a grid puzzle piece.
Now, you simply have to place the four puzzle pieces in the correct positions on the grid:
This will give you the second Guide Crystal.
How To Use The Guide Crystals
Now that you have the two Guide Crystals, you need tohead to the cliff just above the Court of Savantae Ruins. You’ll find another square icon here, but you have to go past that and all the way to the top. At the end, you’ll find two pedestals to hold your Guide Crystals.
Once both the Crystals are submitted, you’ll unlock a golden chest. In total, you’llget two purple and one golden chest from this puzzle, which is quite a hefty payout. In total, you’ll getaround 100 Union EXP from this, which is great if you’re still in the early game.
