You will constantly be hunting materials during your time playingOnce Human, whether it’s for expanding your base, crafting weapons, armor, or ammo to survive, or building new facilities in your territory. Materials are the primary resource you’ll be seeking to endure the Deviants and Rosetta soldiers.
Materials can be obtained through various methods, each with its own acquisition process. Some can be gathered from the open world, others crafted in your facilities, and some require exploration. Iridium Crystals are a prime example of the latter; you’ll need to explore to get your hands on them.
How To Get Iridium Crystals
Iridium Crystals are a material that you can obtain by looting settlements located between levels 31 and 40, all of which arefound within the Chalk Peak regionon the western side of the map.
If you may’t access this region on a new server, it’s likely because your server is still in phase one.
The Chalk Peak region unlocksafter the server reaches phase two, which typically occurs about a week after the server is created.
All settlements in the Chalk Peak region reward players with Iridium Crystals. The only way to guarantee obtaining them isby looting crates in these locations, whether they are weapon crates, gear crates, or storage crates.
The more you loot, the higher your chances of acquiring more Iridium Crystals.
When you open your map and if you hover over any settlement located in the Chalk Peak region, you’ll see Iridium Crystals listed as one of the rewards.
If you’ve already completed all those settlements for the first time, don’t worry!All crates, except for the Mystical ones,will respawn after a few hours, though enemies will also respawn, so you need to be cautious.
This is why it is recommended that you have a friend explore these settlements with you, as they can help make the farming process less daunting.
