You have to gather a lot of materials for crafting inFields of Mistria. You can find some through foraging or mining, but a few of them can only be obtained through sheer luck. You just have to strive to collect them, keeping your hope and determination alive.

Clay is an ingredient commonly used for crafting decorations for your farm. It’s one of the few items that you can obtain through digging. You can also donate it to the Museum or complete requests after collecting some. It’s never a bad idea to store some clay to use later.

How To Get Clay

To obtain Clay, you must first get ashovelto dig up items. You will oftenspot some bumpsin the ground as you walk around Mistria, shaped like upside down ‘U’s. They stand out quite a bit, so you will easily find some whether the ground is grassy or not.

These bumps may appear anywhere randomly, but there is a spot where a bump or two always spawns. Head to the Narrows and keep going left to reach theWestern ruins. Go down till you reach a sandy bed of ground. Dig up the spots available, and there is a chance you’ll dig up Clay.

Nora has received the Clay for Dell’s project in Fields of Mistria.

There is also a low chance to obtain Clay in the mines while you are using your Pickaxe to break rocks.

Lastly, you can also purchase clay from theCarpenter’s Shopin the Eastern Road if you find digging tedious. It can be bought for 50Tesserae you can earn quicklywith a few simple methods.

How To Use Clay

Clay can be used to craft decorations, including thePotted Plant and Basic Flower Pot, if you use some with Sods at the crafting bench. You can also donate Clay to the Museum to complete theDig Site Material Set.

You can also complete theRequest For Art Suppliesquest if you bring some Clay to Nora. Apparently, she needs some Clay, so Dell can work on her project. Nora will reward you with 50 Tesserae upon completion.
