If you’ve spent even a bit of time inGenshin Impact, you’ve probably already encountered a world boss either during the story or by simply exploring the open world. These bosses are important for ascending various characters since they can drop crucial items when you spend your Original Resin after defeating them.

The Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant is one such boss, and it can only be found in the Natlan region. This boss can be both the easiest and the hardest for you depending on the team composition you use against it.

In this area, you’ll find a surface Teleport Waypoint right above the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, and there will also be a path beside this Waypoint leading you directly into a cave. Head into this cave to find the boss.

Before reaching the boss, make sure youunlock the underground Waypoint nearbyfor easier access next time.

Alternatively, you can alsogo to the Waypoint on the top of the cliffwhere the Goldflame Qucusaur boss is present and jump down a big gap.

How To Defeat Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant

Once you go near the battlefield of Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant,it’ll appear out of the skies and start attacking you. This boss' attacks are largely easy to dodge since they’re very slow and mostly in a small area. However, you’ll have a much easier time if you have a shielder like Zhongli in the team.

You can normally attack the boss from the very beginning, which means that there’s a high chance of youfinishing the battle even before its main mechanic triggers. However, you’ll know when this mechanic triggers as the boss will get afull Pyro shieldand fly high up in the air, out of reach for most characters.

We say most characters because the Hydro Archon is built different andher minions can still attack this boss' shieldin the sky.

When this happens, the boss will first launch a couple of homing projectiles at youbefore spawning a Pyro structure on the field. It will then dash to the structure in a few seconds and go high up in the air again if it successfully touches it. Your job is to get rid of the structure by using Pyro-related reactions before it dashes to it.

If the boss dashes to the structure when it’s already broken, it’ll stay near the ground andmake it easy for you to get rid of its shield. Of course, Hydro is the best element to use in this fight since it’ll help you get rid of the structure and the boss' shield quite quickly. Once the shield is off, you can once again deal damage to it normally and defeat it in no time.
