Where To Find Impalers

Part of the Terminid colony, Impalers are some of the toughest foes in the game. They can befound in harder missions and specific biomes. Along with certain terrain types, you’ll need to keep in mind other things before diving into a mission.

1.Biome: Impalers are most likely located in regions withwasteland or desert terrains. This fits the nature of Impalers, as the planet itself will feel like your enemy, and Impalers only add to this pain.

2.Mission Difficulty:A Level 6 or higher difficultyis what you’re looking for. Impalers aren’t likely to be encountered on less challenging missions.

3.Terminid Invasion: Make sure that the mission you are diving into has youfighting against Terminids. If you choose a planet invaded by Automatons, you won’t encounter any Impalers.

How To Defeat An Impaler In Helldivers 2

As intimidating and unpredictable as they are, Impalers also haveweak spots that you need to look out for. The basic idea is tohurt them every time you see a tentacleprotrude out of the ground.

Usually, there are three, and you have a few seconds before they go back into the ground.Using heavy weapons against theseis the way to go, and there are several options available for you.

Keep in mind thatthe best stratagems need time and reflexesto be useful, especially when you are typing in the command to call one while also predicting an Impaler’s moves. Hence, relying on a weapon is better.

Always keep your distance from an Impaler’s tentacles. A Jump Pack might just come in handy.
