When you think of cattle, you probably think about cows, right? Things work a bit differently inCore Keeperthough, as cattle can refer to several different types of livestock. Regardless of what the cattle actually is though, you will still need to find them.

If you want to raise animals (that aren’t pets) in Core Keeper, you will need to set out and find the cattle yourself. In this guide, we are going to look at exactly how you can do this. This will consist of finding the cattle in the world, as well as how to bring them home to the safety of your base.

What Are Cattle?

Cattle consists of the following animals.

These animals all have ababy version that appears when you feed two fully-grown cattle.After feeding the baby versioneight times,it will become an adult.

What Do Cattle Produce?

Each type of cattle produces something different. When youfeed an animal at least two times, it will produce an item for you.Below, you can check out each cattle type, as well as what they produce and what they eat.

Any plant

Where To Find Cattle

Each cattle type can be found in a different location. Thankfully,they all spawn naturally, meaning you just need to search arounduntil you find them.

These creatures are not hostile, so you don’t have to worry about avoiding any untimely attacks.

How To Take Cattle Back To Base

With the help of theLivestock Workbench, you can bring cattle home. This crafting station ismade at the Basic Workbench with the following materials.

At the Livestock Workbench, there are two items useful in the transport of cattle;the Leash and Cattle Transport Box.The Leash is used tolead cattle around, but with the Cattle Transport Box, you can essentiallycapture the cattle and transport them home without worrying about a secure route.
