While there are a lot of activities to do inFields of Mistria, Farming is still the main focus of the game. Various crops are available for every season, and growing them with care on your farm is a rewarding activity. There is a lot that comes with tending to plants, but we have you covered.
Growing crops on your farm will also be one of your main income sources. You can grow fruits, vegetables and flowers that you can use in many recipes. Once you have upgraded the general store, more seeds will be available for you to try out.
How To Grow Crops
You can only grow crops in a small patch of soil when you start the game.Use the Hoe to till the landthat you can use to plant the seeds. You can plant vegetables and flower seeds on the land you just tilled. verify towater your cropswith your Watering Can daily for them to grow. You can fill up your can with the well located on the left side of your house.
Make sure to alwayscheck the suitable season for the cropsbefore planting seeds. Your plants will wither in the wrong season, which will waste both your money and your hard work. Plants have different growth rates and some crops take a lot longer to grow. We recommend you plant them a few days before the season ends.
Some crops give produce more than a few times, till they wither when the season ends. We recommend you plant these at the start of any season.
How To Expand Your Farm
After you have obtained ashovel, you can now expand the soil area to plant more crops. Equip your shovel todig the land on your farmto expand the farming area. If you use the shovel on the soil again, it will become grassy again. You can adjust the shape of your soil area to go along with your decorations to make your farm look appealing.
How To Grow Fruit Trees
Unlike crops, you don’t need to till the soil to plant the fruit trees. You also don’t have to water your saplings daily. To plant a tree sapling, justclear a 2x2 area, and place the fruit tree sapling there. The trees will bear fruits every few days, and you’re able to use them to cook delicious meals.
The saplings can be planted in any season, but you will only get fruit from these trees in specific seasons.
How To Get Seeds
You can purchase the seeds you require at thegeneral store.Some characters will reward you with seeds after you complete their quests. If you have the perkPrepared Picker, you may sometimes obtain seeds while you are foraging plants.
How To Unlock More Seeds
The General Store has alimited variety of seedsavailable at the start. To get access to a wider seed collection for every season, it’s time to upgrade the General Store.
TheUpgrade The General Storequest unlocks after you have completed all the quests during the first phase of Mistria’s development. Adeline will request a few items that you have to place in the donation box to expand the store.
A lot of these resources are easier to obtain especially Wood and Stone, as you only need to break rocks and branches to obtain some. You canobtain the Ingots from the Mines, however, you cannot get Iron Ingots from the mines until you have completed theWater Tablet questto go beyond floor 20.

There are quite a few varieties of crops that you can grow every season. Completing yourAlmanac and Museum entrieswith those crops can be very fulfilling. You can also use your produce to make all sorts of decorations and meals. It’s also a good idea to store a few crops you grow every season, so you can use them for later.
