We’ve been flooring it through all these racing-themed events lately inMonopoly Gothis week, and we’re speeding into the weekend with the Desert Drift event up next. This one runs fromAugust 2 at 2PM ESTuntil4PM EST on August 3, giving you a bit more than 24 hours to collect points and rewards.
Keep the desert vibes alive with the palm tree tokens for Desert Drift, which you’ll earn for hitting the Railroad tiles and wreaking some light havoc on your friends’ Monopoly Go boards. Keep an eye out for bonus City Racers flags along the way!
How To Play Desert Drift (August 2-3)
Along with the Midnight Drive event happening this weekend, you’ll be earning an abundance ofFlag tokensas rewards in the Desert Drift tournament in Monopoly Go! It’s always helpful when the smaller events lend their hand to helping you win the larger ones, right?
As always with tournaments, you’ll need toland on the Railroad tilesto score points, which we’ve detailed the breakdown of in the table below.

Using higherdice roll multiplierswhenever you’re able is a quick way to earn extra cash at once, and the multiplier applies to your Desert Drift points, too!
No special aesthetic prizes in the mix for this tournament, unfortunately, but you’ll be earning plenty of differentcolored sticker packs,additional dice rolls, andtons of cashalong the way. The stickers come in addition to the variety of them available during the City Racers event, so you’re sure to load up on stickers this week!
