Not only is dual-wielding a great way of dealing some damage, it looks and feels great, and is extremely easy to do in the arena. Upon picking up two pistols, players instantly enter Akimbo mode. Dominate this new style of playing, and you’ll dominate the arena.

How To Use Akimbo Mode in Apex Legends

Once you’ve successfully landed at one of your preferred locations in the game, start looking for weapons. More specifically, the Mozambique or P2020s.These are the only two pistols that can currently be dual-wielded. Sorry, Wingman and RE-45 users!

Be aware of care packages carryingGolden Weapons. Some of them have Akimbo versions of the Mozambique and P2020.

The guns can be randomly found in any Supply Bins or lying on the ground. It can also be looted from Death Boxes. The moment you pick two guns of the same type,you automatically enter Akimbo mode. This only takes one slot in your loadout, so feel free to use any other weapon of your choice as your primary or secondary weapon.

How Do Akimbo Weapons Work?

Before you decide to duel-wield weapons, there are certain things you need to keep in mind. For instance, you cannot use a scope on either of the guns. Aiming down sight slightly zooms into the camera, and that’s all. Hipfire is how you’ll be dealing damage with these. So, it’stime to stop worrying about you aim.
