As you get to know your fellow Villagers inDisney Dreamlight Valley, you’re sure to get into a bit of trouble with some of the more villainous characters. While everyone has a chance to live in harmony, some classic villains need more help than others. Jafar needs a bit more help changing his ways and feeling at home, and you’re just the ruler to help.
However, not everyone feels the same about him. Others who have spent time with him have their doubts. Can you convince them that Jafar is worth giving a chance in the village, or is he one villain that’s just too much trouble?
How To Unlock The Serpent’s Gift Friendship Quest
When youreach level seven friendship with Jafar, you may start The Serpent’s Gift quest. This time, Jafar’s research has progressed after your last experiment. He needs your help, however, to set everything up for his latest test.
This time, he wants touse his Imagination Generatorsto let the other people around Dreamlight Valley access the Spark of Imagination with ease. They should also cheer up Oswald, who’s been a little down lately.Open your furniture menu and place oneof these machines in each of the following places:
After they’re all placed, you’ll have towait ten minutesto see if they’re working properly. Spend time chatting with your neighbors, gathering resources, or shopping to pass the time.
How To Make Poutine
Once the ten minutes have passed,check in with Oswaldto see how he’s doing. When you speak to him, he still feels down and empty. Hegives you the recipe for Poutineand asks for a serving.
You’ll need the following ingredients to make Poutine at a stove:
With these ingredients, and a piece of coal,cook up some Poutine and take it to Oswald. While it fills his stomach, he still feels down.Check in with the other villagerson Eternity Isle to see how they’re doing.
You’ll need tospeak with Gaston, Rapunzel, and Scrooge McDuck. When you do, you’ll notice something is a bit off with their speech.Everyone is acting differently, and they all seem to have something harsh to say about EVE.
Where To Find The Serpent Statues
Take a few moments totalk with EVE. She’s on alert becauseJafar has planted somethingin the Villager’s houses. You’ll need to search each house for anything out of the ordinary.
There arethree serpent statues hidden in Eternity Isle, one located in Scrooge’s Store, Rapunzel’s Tower, and Gaston’s Tavern. They can be hard to see, so make sure tosearch every corner of the houseand look closely on the floor.
After removing each of the serpentine statues,listen to Rapunzel and Scroogetalking about feeling free from Jafar’s spell. Then,check in with Gastonto see what’s going on.
Confronting Jafar In The Ancient Ruins
Gaston reveals that Jafar isplanning something in the Ancient Ruins. Make your way there anddrop down to the chamberwhere you first met Oswald. Jafar has him trapped here!
Confront Jafar about his scheme, which is actively draining Oswald of his Luck.
You’ll need tobreak Jafar’s machinesto save the lucky rabbit!
Use your Royal Watering Can on the three power sourcesaround the chamber, which you’ll notice are the Major Essences from the previous quest. After they are destroyed,take your Royal Pickaxe and smash the three gilded machinesimprisoning Oswald.
Jafar will disappear in a puff of smoke, socheck in with Oswaldto find out what happened. After a brief discussion,confront Jafar outside of the palaceto warn him that he’s on probation and his lab has been dismantled.
