How To Unlock Wassermann’s Arena

Since Wassermann’s Arena is a boss dungeon, you’ll need tocomplete several other dungeonsin Brunnelsumpf to activate the portal. you may reach the portal bymaking your way to the adventurer’s campand following thepath past the Tower of Trials dungeon.

From there, you’ll need touse a cube to reach the ledge, then climb over the bridge and make your way to the closed gate. Use another cube here toprop open the gateand enter the secluded area. You’ll unlock a fast travel point and be able toaccess the portal.

Below are the other dungeons in Brunnelsumpf you’ll need to complete before the portal is activated:

Wassermann’s Arena Strategy

Once you enter the dungeon, you’ll need touse your Plasma Ball to activate the raftto reach the arena. Once there, the doors are closed, but there’s a nearby bridge that will rhythmically dip into the toxic water due to the shifting weights attached.

Use your slime cube tostop the weights from movingso you can cross the bridge, then make your way to the edge of the platform and use a Plasma Ball on the fish tunnel. This will power the gate and allow you toenter the arena.

Watery Pool Dweller Stage

As soon as you enter the arena, Wassermann will show himself and begin to attack you. At first, he’llpound his fist into the groundand knock you back with a wave. Dodge roll toavoid this attackor put some distance between the two of you.Use your slime cube to trap his fistbefore he pulls it back.

This will stop him from moving for a few seconds. Use these precious moments tomove to his left side(your right) anduse a Plasma Ball on his shoulder, where you’ll notice a fish tunnel. The magic willtravel through the tunnel and strike himin the chest, dealing damage.

If you’re low on MP,orbs will drop regularly around the arenafrom the spigots. Pick them up!

Each time you do this, Wassermann will become more ferocious. His attacks will have youroam around the arenato avoid waves, rockets, and water spouts. Keep your distance andwait for the right momentto strike.

Once his HP reaches zero,Wassermann will sink into the pool. You can leave the arena and make your way to the exit.

Stomping Vagrant Stage

After climbing your way to the top of the dungeon, you’ll come across a vast pool of water. Step into it, andWassermann will leap from the arenainto the pool. He’s not finished with you yet, but now he’s much more vulnerable.

The downside is thathe’ll summon more monstersto keep you busy.Defeat them to replenish MPas needed, but otherwise avoid them. Instead, focus on trapping Wassermann’s footin a slime cube. It willcause him to trip, allowing you to unleash your Attack Conduits and heavy attacks to deal lots of damage.

You can stillattack him while he walks, but he’ll stomp and knock you down repeatedly.

Continue to knock over Wassermann andbeat him down until he finally dissolvesinto the water. From there, you’refree to collect lootand use the exit portal. Don’t forget tocollect your stamp to officially complete the dungeonand mark your victory over the Brunnelsumpf boss dungeon.
