There’s a lot that happens inDungeons of Hinterberg, from uncovering the village’s secrets to slaying monsters in dungeons. Your time in Hinterberg will be spent getting to know the locals and becoming a top-tier slayer. Those monsters won’t defeat themselves, and with the building of magic in the village, you’ll want to act quickly.
After completing every dungeon in Hinterberg, you’ll have to face the final boss and save the village from certain destruction. Using all the abilities you’ve learned thus far, it’s nothing you’re able to’t handle. Here’s how to reach the final monster and become a living legend!
Spoilers ahead for the end of Dungeons of Hinterberg!
How To Reach Wagner
After you complete the last dungeon in Hinterberg, you’ll be left in the ruins of the village. With magic on your side, you’re tasked withchasing down Mayor Wagnerand stopping her master plan.
Your powers willswitch from exploring to combatas needed.
Use your slime cube to reach ledgesthat are just a bit too high, and your hoverboard to access the railways around the shambles of Hinterberg. As you make your way through the ruins, you’llface off against the synthetic monsterswreaking havoc on the village. There will be several waves, so don’t hold back.
When you reach the end of the road, verify toequip your best gear and restock your potionsbefore taking the final rail to the main square. This is thepoint of no return.
Make sure to open the last chest to obtain some potions before you go!
How To Defeat Wagner’s Creature
When you reach Mayor Wagner, it’s already too late. Her plan is coming to fruition as the town is barely left standing. Using magic, shecreates a monsterthat you must destroy to save Hinterberg!
Theboss comes in two stages, which are broken down below.
Twisted Gooey Golem Strategy
The first stage against Wagner’s Creature leaves youfighting it in the main square. Here, you’ll need to avoid itstomping around and slamming its fistsinto you. Use yourhoverboard to movearound quickly, andthrow the ball and chainto deal damage from afar.
The massive monster willshoot lasers at youas well, so stay on your toes andkeep moving at all times. Standing still spells ceertain doom.Using AoE Attack Conduits is your best bet, especially when they deal lots of damage to the monster.
Once you whittle its health down to zero, themonsters will disperse, but the battle isn’t over yet.
The Wild Hunt Strategy
The second, and final, round is the Wild Hunt, atwisted swarm of monstersthat will circle you in midair and deal damage across the arena. It dives and weaves through the raised platform to strike you, and it canencircle you to create a powerful thunderstorm.
Gettingstruck by lightning with stun youand interrupt your attacks!
In this round, you canuse your slime Cube to slow down the boss, and you canuse your ray beam to deal damageas it soars around you. Rarely will it get in range for you to strike it with your sword, so stay focused and get out of range when you can.
Thankfully, the pattern is easy to follow, asthe Wild Hunt will continue to circlearound you.Keep a steady handwith the ray beam, and you candrain your MP and deal plenty of damage.
As its health gets low, the Wild Hunt will become smaller and turn into a ball.
This is when you should get close and unleash everything you have.
After its HP is depleted, the Wild Hunt will crumble, and you’ll get to see the end of magic in Hinterberg. There’s a bit more to do afterward, likecatch up with the friends you madebefore returning home, but you’ll have successfully saved the village from disaster. Nice work, slayer!
