Fields of Mistriais all about farming and foraging, and as you play through the game, you’ll quickly realize that the storage space in your inventory isn’t nearly enough. The easiest solution to this problem is to craft a storage chest. Once that is done, you can organize your inventory and throw all the items that you don’t need daily into that chest.
The quicker you get yourself a storage chest, the easier the game will be. Micromanaging the inventory can get difficult with all the unnecessary items, but a storage chest solves that problem by providing you with a safe space to dump all extra items into.

How To Craft Storage Chest
Crafting a Basic Wood Chest is easy. All you need is30 pieces of wood. This can be done easily by using theworn axethat you receive shortly after starting the game. There are plenty of trees on your farm that you can use the axe on to collect the wood you need and, if necessary, you can get a better axe by crafting them at the Blacksmith’s table using the Ingots.
After that’s done, you’ll have to head to the crafting table. From your farm, walk straight north into the town. From the middle of the town, go left and you’ll encounter a crafting table. you may also use the crafting tableoutside the Carpenter’s shop.
If you don’t prefer crafting or gathering wood, you can simply go to the general store and buy a Basic Wood Chest for about250 Tesserae.
The Basic Wood Chest requires yourcrafting skill to be level four. If your crafting level isn’t high enough yet, you’ll have to craft other items that match your crafting skill. Raising the crafting skill to four isn’t difficult and can be done fairly quickly byrepeatedly making fences. You can then craft the chest and place it in your house.
To raise your crafting skill level to 4 from 1, you’ll need to craft about 30 fences, which require a total of 60 wood.
