There are over a dozen dungeons to delve through inDungeons of Hinterberg, and not all of them are immediately available. Some of them require other conditions to be met before you can dive right in, and Snowflake Slalom is one such dungeon. Thankfully, we know just how to unlock it.

Where To Find Snowflake Slalom

When you arrive in Kolstein,get on the main railand ride down the slopes to the chair lifts.Take the chair liftsto the cliffside and make your way to the giant race banner.

Theportal to Snowflake Slalom is locked, but you can open it bystarting and completing a raceon your hoverboard. There are many flags to pass through, so do your best to hit them all in one go.

If you miss any, you canfast travel back to the topand try again.

Once all the flags have been passed through,the portal will unlock. Snowflake Slalom is alevel four difficulty dungeon, so be prepared before going in!

Snowflake Slalom Puzzles

When you first enter the portal,follow the pathand use your ranged magic on thefour yellow eyesthat follow you. Two of them are down below in the pit while the other two are along the walls. Striking them all with magic willlower the icy platformso you can cross it.

Head into the next area, where you’ll need to use your hoverboard torace through all six flagsencircling the frozen lake. This willunlock the railso you can ride it up the frozen waterfall into the next region. You’ll need to fight off some monsters before you can proceed.

From there, you’ll need to ride your hoverboarddown the slopes and circle through a series of flagsagain. This unlocks the next rail, which will take you into the sky along some massive snowflakes. Use your ranged magic to strike at the three yellow eyes rotating on the surrounding flakes.

You canfire at the eyes while riding your snowboardon the rails!

Once the eyes are closed,hop onto the next railand weave down the slopesuntil you come across a large door. This is only the first of two, and you’ll need to do some work to open them.

How To Open The Big Door

To open the first big door, you’ll need toapproach the three-headed monster statueand battle. THe waves of monsters that appear are challenging, but nothing you can’t handle. Dispatch them, and the door will open.

The next big door is a bit more challenging. You’ll have tocomplete three tasksto light up each of the three circles.

The Race

To the left, you’llfind a series of flagsyou’ll need to race through.Completing this within the time limitis key, but you have plenty of it. Follow along the winding pathuntil you’ve passed through all 26 flags.

The door will light up, and you’ll beone step closerto completing the dungeon.

The Eyes

To the right, you’llfind a frozen waterfallsurrounded by yellow eyes.Fire at the three on the groundlevel, then take the rail to the top of the waterfall andhit the remaining oneswith your ranged magic.

Doing so will light up the door, so you canmake progress towards leavingthe dungeon.

The Ruins

To the right, you’ll findthe ruins of a castle. Here, there are monsters to fight inside. Defeating them willlight up the railoutside, so take that to the top of the tower andface off with the Kobold Kingyou find there.

Defeating him willunlock the last part of the door, allowing you to pass through. Head back to the big door andride the rail up to the exit. You cancollect your stampbefore opening the portal and heading home.
