Diablo 4’sfifth season is here, bringing with it a whole host of new challenges to complete and items to earn. This season’s challenges are fairly easy to complete and award entire sets of Legendary gear and Uniques just by playing the game. It’s a great way to get a build online during the leveling process, and it helps showcase some of Diablo 4’s endgame systems like tempering and masterworking.
In this guide, we go over how to complete every challenge added in Season 5 of Diablo 4, showcasing all challenge requirements for each chapter. Completing most challenges in a given chapter will unlock a reward cache you can claim through the Season menu.

Meet with Istel in Zarbinzetand increase Mother’s Gift reputation to Rank 1.

Forager
Collect 50 bundled herbs from harvest nodes, cellars, or various other sources throughout Sanctuary.
Collect 50 Rawhide by salvaging armor and defeating monsters.
Prospector
Collect 50 Iron Chunks by salvaging weapons or mining mineral nodes.
Path To Strength
Unlock 5 Aspects in the Codex of Power, such as through completing Dungeons.
Learn a recipe of Magic rarity or higher.
Forsaken Offerings
Open 5 caches from the Tree of Whispers by completing Whispers.
Learn a recipe of Rare rarity or higher.
Guilt
Defeat Echo of Varshan in WT3, located near the Tree of Whispers.
Stem The Tide
Defeat 666 monsters while at max threat level in Helltide (WT3 or higher).
Through Bile And Brimstone
Favor
Damnation’s Downfall
Defeat 20 Helltide Commanders in Helltide, which spawn after Helltide Events.
Defeat 30 Aether Fiends, Aether Lords, and Infernal Demons.
Corruption Consumed
Collect 666 Burning Aether from Hellbreaches and Infernal Hordes in WT4.
Harbinger Of Ice
Defeat the Beast in the Ice in WT4, summoned in a unique Nightmare Dungeon (T31+)

Improve 5 Paragon Glyphs to Rank 15 by completing Nightmare Dungeons.
Unholy Coffers
Open a Greater Spoils of Hell chest after defeating the Fell Council in the Infernal Hordes.
Anguish Extinguished
Use Stygian Stones to summon and defeat Tormented Echo of Andariel.
Eradicator
Use Stygian Stones to summon and defeat Tormented Echo of Duriel.
