Have your Simopen their phoneandselect the career tab (the briefcase icon). From here, you may scroll through the career list until you seeRomance Consultant.Select this careerand your Sim will start out as a ‘Romance Newbie’ Romantic Consultant.
Romance Consultant Career Requirements
There arevery few requirementsfor beginning the Romance Consultant career and the only item you will absolutely need is acomputer.However, there are a few methods and items to use toincrease your promotion speedand boost overall career performance.
Have A Computer, Speaker, And Television
Like with most careers in the Sims 4, you willneed access to a computerfor yourDaily Promotion tasks. Otherwise, you won’t need any special equipment to level your Sim’s Romance Consultant career.
You can find computers onpublic lots such as libraries. You can also purchase a computer for your Sim’s home. However, if a computer is outside of your Sim’s budget, you can use a pre-existing computer on a public lot or add one to a more convenient public lot where thebuild budget is infinite.
While not required to complete the career, your Sims will also benefit from havingaccess to a speaker and television.
You won’t need to use the speaker or TV if your Sim goes to work in person, but if your Sim isworking from home, their at-home tasks will involvewatching Telenovelas and listening to the Romance Station.

The Best Traits For A Romance Consultant Sim

The basic branch of the Romance Career hasseven career levels. To reach level seven, you will need to level not only your Romance Skill but also yourLogic and Charisma Skills.
Becauseyou need Logic and Charisma Skillsto specialize in anew branch at career level eight, you should invest in items that help your Sim build Logic and Charisma. Try practicing speeches, giving compliments, playing card and board games, and researching to level these skills.

Matchmaker Career Branch Levels
Upon reaching Career Level Eight, you’re able to choose to specialize in one of two career branches: theMatchmaker branch or the Relationship Counselorbranch.
