Expert Quests are a crucial aspect ofStar Wars Outlaws, as they not only allow you to meet fascinating new characters but also grant you access to their Abilities. And seeing as this is the only way for you to obtain access to Abilities in general in the game,we recommend seeking out all nine Experts as soon as possible.

As such, Selo Rovak is The Mechanic Expert and provides excellent upgrades for Kay’s Speeder, making her a top priority to seek out and complete her mission when it becomes available. Don’t sleep on Expert Quests, especially hers!

The Mechanic Quest Walkthrough: Finding Selo’s Location

Uponfinishingthe ‘New Tricks’ Main Quest, visitDaruda Dinerandspeak with the Bartenderthere togather information on a skilled Mechanicfor your Speeder. They will point you in the direction ofKadùa Village,where she was last seen.

Hop on your Speeder and follow the waypointuntil you reach the village. Then,speak with the Merchants hereto learn more about her current whereabouts. They willpoint you to a place called The Mirage,where you will have to jump on your Speeder yet again and drive to.

Follow the waypointagain, and you willeventually see a slight smoke trail coming from her camp.Follow the smoke to findSelo’s Shop,where you will meet Selo, The Mechanic.Speak with her to trigger a small cutscene,having her tell you toretrieve an Atmospheric Acceleratorfor her before she works on your Speeder.

Selo will tell you tohead to the Wind Facilitynear Boulder Forest. So, yet again, you will have tohop on your Speeder and follow the waypointuntil youreach an enormous fanthat’s currently powered on.

Using theMagnetic DisrupterSelo gave you,place it on the generator to the left to turn the fan off,then hop back onto your Speeder anddrive through the cave until you reach the facility.

The Mechanic Quest Walkthrough: Find The Atmospheric Accelerator

Once you’re inside the Wind Facility, there will be alarge energy barrierthat will impede your process.Command Nix to turn the power off from the other sideof it.

When Nix turns the energy barrier off,head inside the room, crawl into the vent, and follow it further insidethe Wind Facility, where you will then begin looking for the Atmospheric Accelerator.

Find The Atmospheric Accelerator

Push further into the Wind Facility until youreach a walkway with enormous fans blowing onto it,impeding your progress. These fans will occasionally turn off,giving you the go-ahead to run across the pathway quickly. Themoment the fans turn off, make your move and continue onwarduntil youreach another large fan.

To theleft of this fan will be a generator. Shoot it to break it and stop the fan,allowing you to safely push forward.Scale the fan, then climb onto the metal bars, and keep following this pathwayuntil youreach even more fans.

Like the first part of the factory,these fans will periodically turn off,forcing you totime when you jump onto them so you don’t get blown off themand into your early demise.Wait for them to switch off, then quickly make your move across themuntil youland on a pipethat has a sizeable hole in it.Drop into this holeto get even closer to the Atmospheric Accelerator!

Obtain The Atmospheric Accelerator

After dropping down the hole, follow the path forward until you reach these large metal blocksthatperiodically push out from the wall.Wait forone set to push out,thenquickly move in front of the ones still in the wall.Themoment the other ones rescindback into the walls,move in front of them to avoid being knocked offthe other ones.After the others move back into the wall, quickly run past themand continue pushing onward.

Climb up the metal bars until you reach even more fansthat will occasionally switch off. Like before,wait for them to switch off, then quickly move acrossthem.Continue on this pathway until you reach a section with two generatorson the wall above a large fan.

Destroy the generatorsto stop the fan, thenuse your grappling hook to swing to the opposite sideof the fan.Follow the yellow bars and fans until you reach even more large blocksthat periodically jut out from the wall. Wait for thebottom row of these blocks to push out from the wallandquickly jump across them before the top row followssuit.

Once you’reon the other side of these blocks, climb the yellow bars up until you see a vent,then climb inside it tofind the Atmospheric Accelerator.Grab it from the console, then exit the room!

The Mechanic Quest Walkthrough: Return To Selo

With the Atmospheric Accelerator in your possession,exit the room and use your grappling hook to reach the large, switched-off fanthat leads toward theentrance of the Wind Facility.YourSpeeder will still be herefrom earlier; hop on it andride it through the tunnels and out of the facility.

When you get outside of the facility,simply make your way back to Selo’s Shop and give her the Atmospheric Accelerator.After a brief cutscene, the mission will be completed, and you willobtain the Speed Boost modfor your Speeder,alongside access to The Mechanic Abilities!
