Star Wars Outlawshas many planets to explore and complete quests on, making them crucial to go to and tackle the main storylineif you want to meet all nine Experts.As such, when you land on Tatooine for the first time, you will be tasked with tracking down Hoss to recruit onto your crew for the big heist.

Tatooine is a massive desert planet with lots to see and do on it, but the main questline takes priority, and ‘The Heavy’ is the first main story beat you will tackle when you land on it for the first time.

The Heavy Quest Walkthrough: Talk To The Sheriff

To begin ‘The Heavy’ main quest, head to theTatooine Orbit,then dock the Trailblazer on the planet of Tatooine.Upon landing, you will be tasked withseeking out the town’s sheriff,who will beleaning against a pillar near the opposite endof the town.

Speak to Quint,the sheriff, to trigger a cutscene wherebandits attempt to ambush you.She will dispatch the first wave in a flash, but asecond wave will appear,having you deal with them. There are not many of them here, somake quick work of them with your Blaster.

Afterward,Quint will ask you to follow her back to her office.Once you reach her office,a cutscene will play,with Kay asking her where Hoss is.Quint will point you to the Abandoned Moisture Farm,your next destination!

The Heavy Quest Walkthrough: Search The Abandoned Moisture Farm

Follow the waypoint to the Abandoned Moisture Farmandenter the first siloyou see byrappelling down an opening on its roof.This will place you inside of the Abandoned Moisture Farm, where Hoss was last seen, having you explore it further to confirm if he’s there or not.

Search For Hoss In The Abandoned Moisture Farm

Upon entering the silo, you will see adoorway that leads to a dark room.Enter that room, and you willsee a door barely cracked;approach it tosee a body through the tiny sliver.The door will be stuck, forcing Kay toturn the power onto get it opened.

To do this,head back into the central hubof the silo to find a closed panel.Command Nix to open the panel,thenshock the generator with your Blasterto open the door directly to its right.Enter the door that just openedto findanother generator on the ceiling.

Zap this generatorwith your Blaster toopen another door that leads to the breaker.Flip the switch on the breaker toturn the power on,thenhead back and observe the body.You will discoverit’s not Hoss and will find a transponder on the corpsethat you can track, leading you directly to Hoss.

Follow Hoss' Trail

Exit the Abandoned Moisture Farmandfollow the waypointon your map, leading you directly into aTusken Raider basewhere they’reholding Hoss hostage.You mustobtain a Krayt Dragon Pearlthat was stolen from the Tusken Raidersin order to free Hoss,having you move onward to anAncient Creature’s Lair.

The Heavy Quest Walkthrough: Obtain The Krayt Dragon Pearl

Once more,follow the waypointthat leads you to theAncient Creature’s Lairto obtain the Krayt Dragon Pearl. You will eventuallyreach a narrow trail littered with various bonesthat leads into a large cave.Follow this pathway and enter the caveto get closer to the item.

There will bemany bandits inside,but there areways to trivialize each section within the Ancient Creature’s Lair to make it much more manageableon your end, which will cover how to do it in the section below to save Hoss!

Ancient Creature’s Lair: Layer One

Upon entering the cave, you will see ahandful of guardsin thefirst sectionof this area. While you could be stealthy here, there’s no need to be, soopen up on all of them to make quick work of this partof the quest. There’s really no reason to be stealthy in this section of the mission, so just go loud and eliminate them with force.

After eliminating all the guards,move to theupper areaandperform a running jump off it and over the sizable gapto reach the opposite end of the cave.Follow the pathway out and squeeze through the narrow openingin the wall to reach another area inside the Ancient Creature’s Lair.

Obtaining The Krayt Dragon Pearl

Once you squeeze through the small opening, you willsee the Krayt Dragon Pearl in the distanceand a sea of guards in this section of the cave. Luckily for you, you won’t have to deal with many of them at all.

Sneak a little forwardandlook to your rightto see aguard on the far endof the walkway.Use your Blaster to stun him,thenmove to where he wasto find a series of bars you may climb across to reach the opposite end of the cave.Climb across them and then drop downand begin sneaking again.

There will be aguard directly in front of younear a crate.Sneak behind him and take him down,thenmove slightly to the leftto seeanother guardto the right.Stun him with your Blaster,thenmove into the room with the Krayt Dragon Pearl.In this room will beanother guard. Sneak up behind themand perform a takedown, thengrab the key item.

Find Another Way Out

With the Krayt Dragon Pearl in your possession, it’s time tofind an alternate exitto deliver it to the Tuskens. From theroom where the Pearl was, take the leftmost exit and sneak up through the narrow walkwaythat leads to a bigger region of the cave.

There will beseveral guards to your left, but all of them will have their backs turned toward you.Use this to your advantage andquickly sneak up to the door on the right.You will be able toopen this door and make a swift exit without any of the guards noticing you,so don’t shoot or interact with any of them.

Continue pushing onward through the cave, andyou will eventually reach a point where you have to use your grappling hook to clear a sizable gap.After you do this,follow the pathway outside, where a cutscene will triggerhaving Kaywait for the Tuskens to arrive.Here, she willgive them the Krayt Dragon Pearl, and they will live up to their promiseand free Hoss.

This will conclude the mission,giving you access to ‘The Gunslinger’ Expert Quest,which is an excellent way to get more out of Kay’s Blaster and Adrenaline Rush mechanic!

Alerting the bandits in this section of the cave won’t instantly end the mission, but it will make your life substantially harder as there is a mix of Droids and humans that will collapse on your location, so it’s best to avoid them altogether here and just make a clean exit!
