InZenless Zone Zero, it’s clear what types of commission are Belle and Wise’s favorites - the ones with easy payouts. None meet this requirement quite like the “Good Deed” commissions, where a mysterious benefactor has laid out easy commissions with large rewards for those willing to take them on.
Part of a series of quests that utilize unique, fun mechanics in the HDD, this commission is chock-full of explosions and is, quite literally, raining loot down upon you. So whether you’re in it for the Dennies or just to “blow off some steam,” Another Good Deed is the commission for you.
How To Unlock Another Good Deed
In order to unlock Another Good Deed, you must havereached the Chapter Two Intermission.You will also need to complete the prerequisite commissionDaily Good Deed, a side quest that can be accepted on Inter-Knot during the Chapter One Intermission.
Once these prerequisites are met, you willbe able to accept the commission on Inter-Knot. While there is a Recommended Level, and you will have to select Agents to join you, there isno combat in this commission, so no preparations have to be made beforehand when it comes to choosing your team.
Another Good Deed Walkthrough
The mechanics of Another Good Deed, luckily, are quite simple -your bangboo is in the bottom-left corner of the HDD screen. You canmove your bangboo left or rightto hit two switches.Hitting a switch will move the bomb tile left or right, according to which lever your bangboo pushes.
The bomb tile cannot be moved up or down - it can only be moved either left or right on the bottom row of the HDD screens.
When the bomb tile is lined up where you want it,move up to push the button. The bomb tile willfly directly upwards until it hits a tile, at which point it willexplode and destroy or damage the surrounding four tiles.
Four types of tiles can be found on the HDD during this commission;undamaged brick tiles will take two hits to destroy, whiledamaged brick tiles only take one hit to destroy. TheGolden Bangboo Tile is the goal of the commission- once you hit it, the round will be completed. Lastly,additional bomb tiles will appear as the rounds progress, and hitting one destroys or damages additional tiles.
Three rounds must be completed before the rewards for this commission can be earned.
Round One
In Round One, you will find aseries of damaged brick tiles scattered around the map, and you will want to destroy brick tiles as well as the Golden Bangboo sincebrick tiles drop Dennies when destroyed. First, move the bomb to thesecond tile from the left and launch it, then move the bomb to thesecond tile from the right and launch it.
This clears a path to destroy the other bricks around the Golden Bangboo.Relaunch the bomb from the second tile from the left and the second tile from the rightto explode all the bricks on the map, thenmove the bomb to the centermost tile to destroy the Golden Bangboo.
Round Two
The second round is a bit more complicated as theentire map is filled with undamaged brick tiles. You will still want to destroy as many as possible.
Remember that the launched bomb only destroys or damages the surrounding four tiles - meaning directly up, down, left, or right of where it hits.
Because of how packed the map is, there is no particular order in which tiles should be destroyed.Break as many brick tiles as possible, thendestroy the Golden Bangboo. Wise or Belle will mention a possible issue with the bomb, as there is a delay with the explosion, but thisdoes not affect the commission.
Round Three
Here is where things get fun, asadditional bomb tiles have been added to the map. You will want tohit the bomb tiles to help you destroy as many bricks as you can.
However, instead of heading directly for the Golden Bangboo, you will want tocarve a path to either the left or right of the Golden Bangboo. This way, instead of hitting the Golden Bangboo directly, you canhit one of the bombs on the top row of the map.
When clearing a path to the side of the Golden Bangboo, be sure to leave a one tile gap, since you destroy the tiles to the left and right of you as well.
Doing this willactivate all of the bombs in the row, destroying the Golden Bangboo and clearing out a large amount of brick tiles as well. With the final Golden Bangboo destroyed, your job is done - and the rewards are yours.
A new portion of the map will open up, and you canmove directly upwards and unlock the Gear Coin Vault. From there, be sure to collect all the supply boxes, andpick up the three Hollow Data Setson your way to the “checkered flag” tile that will end the commission.
