Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3has added a new set of aftermarket parts in its fifth season, including conversion kits for the RPK and Reclaimer 18. This week’s challenges unlock the JAK Ripper, an underbarrel attachment with a built-in switchblade. Use your melee input to slash any target in your path, acting as a Throwing Knife or dedicated melee weapon. It even boosts your movement speed while equipped.
Unlocking this attachment is fairly straightforward this week, requiring you to land suppressed kills and use SMGs. We’ll cover how the JAK Slash works, how to unlock it, and showcase how to complete all 21 challenges added this week in Modern Warfare 3.
Week 3 Challenge Reward
Upon completing five weekly challenges from this week, you’ll unlock theJAK Slash underbarrel.This is a vertical grip that doubles as a combat knife, capable of one-tapping players in core Multiplayer. Strangely, this vertical grip reduces vertical recoil by 8% buthas no ADS or sprint-to-fire penalties.It’s also the only underbarrel in the game that buffs every mobility stat except ADS strafe speed,perfect for SMGsand shotguns.
This under barrel can be applied to virtually all MW3 weapons except pistols and certain sniper rifles. If the gun accepts underbarrel grips, it most likely has access to the JAK Slash.
