The first week of Season 5 forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3has released one of the game’s weirdest aftermarket parts thus far. If you complete five of this week’s challenges, you’ll unlock a blunderbuss conversion kit for the MORS sniper rifle. The future melds with the past to create something quite odd but surprisingly effective in Hardcore playlists.
But as with most aftermarket parts, you’ll need to complete some challenges beforehand. This guide explains how to unlock this attachment and showcases how to complete all 21 of this week’s challenges as quickly as possible, including those found in Multiplayer, MWZ, and Warzone.
Week 1 Challenge Reward
Completing any five challenges this week will unlock theJAK Widemouth Barrel forthe MORS.This turns the gun into a magnetic blunderbuss, firing a salvo of ball bearings that act just like a shotgun. You cannot fully ADS with this attachment, and the damage falloff of the MORS becomes rather significant. Use this weapon like a shotgun for optimal results.
Get 40 operator kills

Open 75 loot caches.
In Urzikstan, get 15 kills in the northwest region (Resort, Power, Seaport, Cargo).
In Urzikstan, get 15 kills in the southern region (City, Suburbs, Manor).
Complete 15 contracts in Warzone.
In Urzikstan, get 15 kills in the eastern region (Military Base or Farms).
In Urzikstan, get 15 kills in the central region (Old Town, Low Town).
