If you prefer soaring through the sky at high speeds, then skyriding is the style for you. If you prefer the predictability of setting your mouse down and letting your mount do the work, then you should opt for the steady flight style. Luckily, switching between the two is easy.
What Are Flight Styles
You are able to traverse the game’s many zones through two forms of flying:skyridingandsteady flight styles.Skyridingallows forquicker travelat 720 percent speed, and uses a system ofVigorto be able to soar higher and faster. Additionally, you canassign new skills, such as faster Vigor regeneration or new abilities, via Skyriding Proficiency, which is gained when leveling up.
Thesteady flight style, on the other hand, replicates the game’s original method of flight, reducing your flight speed to a steady420 percent at max. Unlike Skyriding, you are able tohover in placeanddo not have to have Vigorto take off, which can be helpful in its own ways.
How To Switch Flight Styles
Toswitch your flight style, simply go to themount journal, which can be found in the Warband Collections tab with the Horseshoe symbol. Once there, look for a button to theleft of the mount equipmentand left-click this to switch.
If you find yourself changing flight styles often, you candrag this button to your hotbarfor easy access!
Druid Flight Styles
Since they have their own flying forms,druids will automatically get this spelladded to theirspellbook. Simply find and click it to switch the flight style for bothtravel formandflying mounts.
