One of the main parts ofYaoling: Mythical Journeyis the huge collection of adorable, cool, and powerful Yaolings that you can meet, battle, and catch for yourself. Like other monster hunter games, it’s possible to amass quite the critter army in Yaoling, and this is something you’ll need to do to take down the toughest enemies and make your village prosperous.
However, the game isn’t amazing at explaining exactly how to catch new Yaolings, and it’s rather easy to end up wasting your precious Seals. We’ve got you covered, though, with some instructions and tips on getting more Yaolings.

How To Catch Yaolings
To get more Yaolings, you’ll need to use certainCharms. While this is a generic item category in the game, you’ll have to use specificSeal Charmsto catch Yaolings. There are two ways to use Seals once you have them:
To catch a Yaoling on the overworld, you mustaim your Seal with the right mouse button- hold it down to see the direction that you’ll throw it, andrelease itto attempt a catch.
To catch a Yaoling during a battle, you simplyuse the Seal Charm on the enemy Yaolingas you would with any other Charm.
Both methods are not 100 percent effective, though we did find thatwe had more success with the mid-battle method, especially afterdamaging our target Yaolinga bit.
