There are dozens of unique Pals inPalworld, and many of them have subspecies that diverge from the default element. This allows for new-looking Pals and more diversity in the Paldeck. One of the newest subspecies added in the Sakurajima update is Quivern Botan–a green variant of Quivern that takes after the Grass element.

This fluffy, adorable dragon is not to be trifled with. It’s still a difficult creature to find, much like its standard counterpart, and it will wipe the floor with you if you’re not prepared. Here’s everything you need to know to get ready to find and catch one on your own.

Where To Find Quivern Botan

Quivern Botan is afluffy green dragon subspeciesof Quivern. They canonly be found in Sakurajima, not far from Moonflower Tower. Make your way to theDancing Sakura Shrineand you’ll find several Quiverns and Quivern Botans.

These Pals will sleep at night, so it’s best to sneak up on them then!

You’ll need tobe careful if trying to approach one, as they aren’t solitary creatures.Nearby Pals may decide to attackyou for getting too close (or your ownPals may target Quivern Botanand start a fight). You may alsorun into Moonflower Geninthat try to stop you from progressing.

How To Catch Quivern Botan

To catch Quivern Botan, you’llneed Ultra Spheresor better. Quivern Botan is bothGrass and Dragon type, so you’ll need to bring Pals that can combat this. You’ll also need tohave an assault rifleat least so you can help your Pal deal damage.

Many high-level Pals can challenge Quivern Botan, so don’t stress about the type so much.

Once theQuivern Botan’s health is low, recall your Pal before they can beat the dragon. Then,throw your Pal Sphereat Quivern Botan and wait. You may need to try this multiple times before the Pal is finally caught.

Quivern Botan’s Partner Skill,Green Dragon’s Affection, allows them to beridden as a flying mount. While mounted, yourGrass attacks will be enhanced.

Assigning Quivern Botan To Your Base

If you want to have Quivern Botan at your base, you canassign them at the Palbox. They’ll immediately start getting to work around their new home.

Quivern Botan is best suited forplanting, handiwork, transporting, gathering, and mining. This makes them a versatile companion to have, and they will bea great help to keep your base of operations runningsmoothly.
