There is certainly a lot that comes with managing a Tavern inTravellers Rest. Constantly catering to your customers while expanding your Tavern is a challenging task. To rise up to the challenge, you eventually have to build some Guest Rooms for further development of the place.

However, there are a few factors that you need to keep in mind before building one. There are many materials required to build and decorate it.
How To Unlock The Guest Rooms
If youincrease your reputationto level seven,building modewill be unlocked. You need tobuy the Construction Tableto get on expanding your Tavern. It can be bought fromWoody’s shopfor three gold and 15 silver coins. Place it anywhere on your land to start working on your Tavern’s remodelling.
You also need to place the required materials for development in the Construction Table.
How To Build A Guest Room
A basic Guest Room should have a few components so you can open it for Travellers to rest. You needa bedfor your customers to sleep in,one table and a chair, and a light sourcefor them. You also need to ensure that the room ishygienicas customerswon’t rent a filthy room.
Building Guest Rooms requires a lot of resources and materials, so we recommend youbuild some small and simple onesbefore trying out complicated bigger rooms that are well-decorated. For the light source, you cancraft a Candle Holder at the Blacksmith’s Tableand put a candle in it. For the table and chair, use your Workbench to craft some simple furnishings.
At reputation level seven, you’re able to build only one Guest Room, but more will be unlocked as you increase your reputation.
Build A Floor
To start with your Guest Room, you must first lay the Groundwork bybuilding a base floor. You needfive Wooden Planks, Five Iron Nails and one gold coin. Planks can be obtained by processing some wood in the Sawmill. Use your Blacksmith’s Table to craft some Iron Nails. Once you have your required resources, you can start expanding using the floor tab in yourbuilding toolbar.
You do not need to place any zones on your floor, simply erase a crafting or dining zone if you want to use that area for guests.
Build A Door
You need to build a Guest Room Door to make it available for rent. Craft15 Wooden Planks, ten Iron Nails,andfour Mortarto make the door, and place it at the entrance of your room. It will cost you three gold coins.
Mortar can be crafted in a Mixing Tank by using some Stones and Polished Stones.
Use Decoration
Decoration is not required to build a Guest Room, but it willimprove your guest’s comfort, which will also increase the price for renting a room. Use the decoration tab to customize your walls and floor. You can also place some decorations in your rooms manually.
If you have the Manual Labour skill unlocked from the skilltree, the building process will cost fewer coins.
