InSword of Convallaria, many characters can increase your team’s chance at victory through their ability to apply debuffs. Faycal is a character that possesses strong ranged attacks, a passive trait that removes enemy buffs, and reaction abilities that allow him to interrupt opponents and attack when it’s not his turn.
Faycal’s role is a Watcher, which counters the Destroyer role and has an advantage when attacking and defending against them. Use Faycal to deal increased damage when attacking Destroyers and utilize his ranged attacks to apply debuffs to enemies. Choosing the right upgrades and gear will make Faycal an effective member of your team.
Character Upgrades
As characters rank up, you will choose powerful Skills, Passives, and Reactionabilities that will define their role in your team’s strategy.
Choosing the right selections at Ranks One, Three, Five, Seven, Nine, and 11 will harmonizeto make Faycal a great character in your squad.
Faycal gainsincreased Critical Damage, Alert shot abilities, retaliation abilities, andapplies debuffsto everyone he attacks,making enemies weaker and easier to take downfor the rest of your team.

Dharana
Dharana is a Skill and a Passive Ability that grants Faycal20 percent increased Critical Damageif there are no enemies within two tiles of him.

Arrow of Guardian Convallaria
Arrow of Guardian Convallaria is a Skill and an Alert Ability that deals120 percent damage to enemies that enter a 3x4 tile area in the target direction. Enemies hit by this skill will also be Interrupted.

Eye for an Eye
Eye for an Eye is a Reaction that occurs when Faycal isbeing attacked at range from the front or the side. Faycal will strike back, dealing100 percent damageto the enemy that attacked him.

Alert Shot
Alert Shot is a Skill and an Alert Ability that deals100 percent damage to enemies that enter a 3x3 tile areain the target direction. This can be activated twice per round.

Fatal Attack
Fatal Attack is a basic attack that deals85 percent Physical Damage and increases Critical Damage by 15 percent. This attack is aCurved Shot, meaning it does not require a direct line of sight to hit enemies.

Heart of Alert
Heart of Alert Attack is a Skill and a Passive Ability thatincreases Critical Chance by 45 percentandCritical Damage by 30 percentwhen it is not Faycal’s turn.
Recommended Weapons And Gear
Your Weapons, Trinkets, and Tarot Whispers offer skills that will boost Faycal’s abilities and the effectiveness of his build.Faycal will be attacking when it is not his turn,and the Alert Abilities in this build can be used to maximum effect byutilizing items that boost Faycal’s Damage when it is not his turn.

Skill: Increases Physical Attack by five percent and deals 20 percent more Damage when it is not Faycal’s turn.
Trinket
Hunter’s Intuition
Skill: Deals 25 percent more Damage when an Alert is triggered. Also, when an enemy uses a Skill within range, this ability will also trigger.
Tarot Whispers
Destruction of the Tower
Skill: When it’s not Faycal’s turn, Damage Dealt Increases by 20 percent.
Faycal’s Alert abilities willallow him to attack when it isn’t his turn. Combining the Irian Fighting Bow, Hunter’s Intuition, and Destruction of the Tower will stack, causingthese items to provide Faycal with 65 percent more Damagewhen attacking if it is not on his turn.
His Rank 11 SkillHeart of Alert will grant him an additional 30 percent Critical Damage on topof the item damage, so not only will Faycal be applying debuffs and interrupts with this build, but he’ll also be dishing out damage on the enemy’s turn.
