Daisy Clutch is one of the first characters you’ll encounter inSteamworld Heist 2, and she’s also one of the strongest cast members you’ll recruit throughout the campaign. Her Studious ability makes her one of the more complex characters to build, as it adds an extra layer to the side-job system.
The strongest build for Daisy will change over the course of the game as you unlock more gear and upgrades, but she can consistently perform at the top of any team she’s in. Here’s how to build her in the endgame and the strategies for getting her to this power level quickly.

Daisy’s Role In A Party
The unique skills that Daisy has access to are Stun Gun and Studious. These are both useful in any job you choose to assign her:
Most boss enemiescan only be stunned once. Don’t worry about using your second stun gun charge on a weaker enemy.

Daisy’shitboxand profile aresmaller than average, aiding her in roles that rely on using cover. If you try to put a tall character like Cornelius in the reaper or flanker position, they’ll stick out of cover more often than not. These jobs also make sure she’s close enough to land her stun gun.
How To Use Daisy’s Studious Passive
The Studious passive is only available late in the game once you unlock the second tier of personal upgrades. Knowing it’s there ahead of time is important as it lets youplan her job levels throughout the game rather than needing to replay missions to grind XP for her.
The most important jobs to prioritise exp for are, in order: Engineer, Flanker, Reaper, Sniper, Brawler and Boomer.

Engineer
Feel The Burn
Engineer gives more cogs than any other class, improving all future side-jobs that Daisy learns.
Feel The Burn works wonders ifpaired with a piercing weapon, which other classes have easier access to.

Flanker
Backbiter, Light Step, Cool
Flanker gives you some of the best passive abilities in the game. Backbiter lets any class ignore armour, while light step becomes more important as damage floors start appearing in more levels.
Reaper
Harvest, Momentum
Reaper’s Harvest and Momentum abilitiesreward you for getting killing blows. An accurate piercing weapon with Harvest lets youmow down massive groupsof enemies as long as youkill at least one with each shot.
Sniper
Smokebomb, Hunter’s Mark
Sniper gives helpful passives early on by increasing aim, which other classes can always benefit from. Its late-game ability, Smoke Bomb, is able to bail you out of any dangerous situation, especially paired with the engineer’s wide aura.
Brawler
Payback, Second Wind, Shifty
Brawler’s payback and second wind abilities are both great survivability tools thatlet a bot operate independently of their teamwithout worry.Shifty pairs well with Reaper’s Harvest,as it activates before you make the second attack.
Boomer
Mines, Loose Cannon
Loose Cannon is the main skill you care about; unfortunately, it’s level five. Being able to get twice as many shots out of any attack is hard to turn down.
The sub-upgrades Combat Guidebook and Advanced Combat Guidebook both matter a lot to Daisy, allowing her to quickly rack up experience on all jobs. you may also give her an Experience badge or three in her utility slots.
Endgame Build For Daisy
A player willing to grind out max levels on all jobs can make a strong build by taking the capstone abilities of every job and combining them into a monstrous bot that focuses on high damage and killstreaks.
Here’s a potential maxed-out build for Daisy, which is far beyond what you need to clear the game on veteran difficulty.
For people less willing to max out all jobs (it does take some grinding),a milder buildcan be made that focuses on the Flanker and Engineer:
This version focuses on tagging as many enemies as possible with minor hits to set them on fire with the Engineer’s Capstone ability.
Any weapon that deals eitherpiercing or splash damagecan be used. If an enemy survives the extra damage from burning, you’re able to tag them with the stun gun beforehand.
Using the Penetrator capstone from the Flanker, any weapon can be turned into a piercing weapon. This works well with Engineer pistols since you may spread your shots out over several groups of enemies.
