InSword of Convallaria, different character types can balance your team’s fighting chances through their survivability. Blade is a character that excels at dodging enemy attacks, removing opponents' buffs, and gaining extra movement. He also possesses a kit that allows him to generate highly damaging attacks.
Blade’s role is that of a Seeker, which counters the Breaker role and has an advantage when attacking and defending against them. Use Blade to deal increased Damage when attacking Breakers and utilize his excellent dodging skills to avoid AOE damage. Choosing the right upgrades and gear will allow you to maximize Blade’s effectiveness in battle.
Character Upgrades
As characters rank up, they gain access to powerful Skills, Passives, and Reactionabilities that will define their playstyle and power scaling. Choosing the right selections at Ranks One, Three, Five, Seven, and Nine willcombineto make Blade a strong member of your team.
Blade gains increased Physical and Critical Damage, Defensive Damage Mitigation, Increased Healing, increased Dodging, and a double-striking Basic Attack that provides a single target damage boost and debuff.

Fancy Footwork is a Skill and aPassive Abilitythat causes Blade to take50 percent less AOE Damageand gaintwo Dodge attemptsfor two turns.

Ambush
Ambush is a Skill and a Passive Ability thatdeals 20 percent Physical Damageif anattacked target was Unharmed.

Strength Activation
Strength Activation is aReaction that occurs if Blade receives healing. The healing received is increased by ten percent.
After Blade receives healing, Strength Activation grants him a20 percent Damage Bufffor one turn.

Traceless Shadow
Traceless Shadow is a Skill and a Support Ability thatgrants Dodge for one turn. Upon a successful dodge, Bladeteleports behind an enemy, deals 100 percent Physical Damage, andgains Dodgeagain for one turn.

Critical Strike
Critical Strike is a Basic Attack thatdeals 50 percent Physical Damage twiceandincreases Critical Damage by 15 percent.
Recommended Weapons And Gear
Your weapons and Tarot Whispers offer skills that improve Blade’s many stats and abilities depending on which items are equipped.
Blade will be attacking from behind a lot, thanks to the Rank 7 skill in our build, Traceless Shadow. To best capitalize on Traceless Shadow procs,equip weapons that boost Critical Damage when attacking from behind.

Ceremonial Knife
Skill: Increases Critical Damage by 20 percent when attacking from the back of an enemy.
Void Stab
Skill: Increases Critical Damage by 15 percent.Gain stacks of Void.Each stack increases Critical Damage by five percent andcan stack up to six times. The effects of Void last until the end of two turns.
Tarot Whispers

Skill: When it’s not Blade’s turn,Damage Dealt Increases by 20 percent.
Blade’s TraitBlessed Arrow lets him attack when it isn’t his turn. Blessed Arrow causes him to perform an Assisting Attack against all enemies within three tiles, dealing 15 percent Physical Damage and dispelling one Buff.
Destruction of the Tower will increase this damage by an additional 20 percenton top of the base 15, making Blade’s Assisting Attack ability that much stronger.
