Chapter 3 ofBlack Myth: Wukongintroduces the player to many hard boss battles. It is the longest chapter of the game by far and finding each boss in it can be fairly difficult if you don’t know where to look for them.
Non-Void is an optional boss that you may encounter in Chapter 3. He is one of the four Non bosses in the chapter, but to fight him, you will have to undertake a small NPC quest. Non-Void is an exceptionally elusive boss and defeating him may require more effort than an average boss battle.

How To Find Non-Void
Non-Void resides in the left section of theNew Thunderclap Temple, with the nearest shrine being the Temple Entrance. However, if you encounter him, he won’t fight you right away. to make him battle you, you will have to take on theSnow Fox Quest.
The Snow Fox’s spirit can be found on a corpse near the Forest of Felicity Shrine. When youapproach the corpse and examine it, you will enter a dialogue with the spirit of a fox and will receive an item that will allow you to transform into the fox.

To make Non-Void hostile, you’ll have to enter his arena while you aretransformed into a fox. You only have to do this once, and whenever you enter his arena again, the boss battle will start right away.
Non-Void Attacks
Non-Void likes to teleport and turn invincible a lot. Unfortunately,Immobilize doesn’t work that wellagainst this boss as he can immediately break out of it during the latter half of the fight. However, on the flip side, most of his attacks don’t deal as much damage.
How To Avoid
Backhand Jab, Fadeout Elbow Into Palm
Non-Void throws astraight backhand punchtowards the Destined One. After the attack, the boss will fade into invisibility for a split second as he transitions into an elbow attack and then throwsa palm attack as he comes out of invisibility, which releases a burst of Qi.
The first attack is easy to see because the boss folds his arm back for a long duration before throwing out the backhand punch. Just as you see the first attack come out, dodge repeatedly in any directionto dodge the entire combo. It is easily one of his most damaging attacks and must be avoided at all cost.

Scripture Tornado
Non-Void will cast a spell on thescriptures scattered around the bossarena until all of them come together to form a tornado. This tornado will keep following the player for a little while before dispersing.
If you see this attack coming, you cansprint away from the tornado to avoid itcompletely. If you do get caught in it, pressing dodge repeatedly will get you out of it. Attacking Non-Void during the duration of this attack may dispel the tornado.
Backhand Jab
Thissingular strikeis something you will see often during this boss fight. Non-Void may fade intoinvisibility and follow up with another attack.
Dodge as the attack is about to connect. You can also counter this attack by using aResolute Strike in the Smash Stance.
Qi Focus
Often at times during the boss battle, Non-Void will assume a stance by bringing both of his arms together and you’ll seesmoke coming out of his body for a split second. This attack has a short range and doesn’t deal a lot of damage, but it can knock you down on the ground.
you may avoid this attack by quickly creating some distance when you see him doing the movement with his hands. You’ll only get hit by this attackif you’re too close to the boss, or if you’re recklessly attacking him.
Balls Of Void
Non-Void will throw asmall white projectile in the Destined One’s direction. The boss may throw several of these projectiles one after the other. These white balls will follow the player.
There are two ways to avoid it. You can simply dodge before the ball makes contact with you, or you can use theSpinning Staff to deflectthese projectiles.
Parry Into Fadeout
Non-Void will take up a stance where he raisesone of his legs and brings both of his arms in front of you. If you attack him during this stance, you will receive damage and the boss will fade into invisibility and unleash a follow-up attack.
you’re able to avoid getting parried by paying attention to the boss. When he takes up the stance, you canstop attacking. The boss may still fade out into invisibility, but if you’re careful, you will be able to avoid the follow-up attack bydodging to the sides.
How To Beat Non-Void
Non-Void is a slippery boss, as he constantlyfades out into invisibility. You won’t be able to hit him with any of your attacks while he’s invisible and will have to wait till he comes out of it.
UsingImmobilizeis only good for dealing damage during the early phase of the fight. We recommended you put a few Sparks inA Pluck of Many spell, as the boss doesn’t have that many options for crowd control, and the clones are a good source of damage even in the latter half of the fight.
You can use the Cloud Step spell to hit Non-Void while avoiding the Scripture Tornado attack. Doing so will immediately dispel the tornado.
TheCloud Stepcan also be used to avoid most of Non-Void’s other attacks, such as theBalls Of Void. The spell also gives you an opportunity to deal some extra damage. If you’ve invested some Sparks in this spell, you may even unleash aHeavy Smash Attack out of it, dealing a considerable amount of damage to the boss and making the fight slightly easier.
The primary strategy of this boss fight is to keep attacking the boss whenever you get the chance. Don’t hesitate to useTransformations or Medicinesto heal and buff yourself, because if you do get defeated during this boss battle, you’ll have to run all the way back from theTemple Entrance Shrine.
Rewards For Defeating Non-Void
Defeating Non-Void rewards the Destined One with his Spirit Summon, and the player will also receive aTonifying Decoction, twoCold Iron Leaves, Blood of the Iron Bull, and 1200 Will. After defeating Non-Void, you can return to the corpse possessed by the Snow Fox’s spirit to end its quest. Doing so will transform theSnow Fox BrushKey Item into a Curio, which moderatelyincreases the duration of transformations.
Non-Voidspirit is also quite useful, as it allows you to becomeinvincible and intangiblejust like the boss himself, which can be incredibly useful during boss battles with attacks that are difficult to avoid by dodging. The spirit also recovers amoderate amount of Staminaevery time an attack hits the Destined One. This is a passive effect and will stay active while you’ve equipped Non-Void’s spirit.
