Enir-Ilim is one of the endgame dungeons inElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. It is inaccessible from the beginning as it requires you to defeat a couple of main bosses. Being the endgame area, you can expect to find some of the best loot Shadow of the Erdtree has to offer. It is, however, a little tough to navigate, especially if you are not adequately leveled.

Enir-Ilim is also the area where most of the NPC quests conclude. This guide will walk you through the entirety of Enir-Ilim, helping you find all the items, every Site of Grace, and defeat the final boss at the end.

How to Unlock Enir-Ilim

In order to unlock Enir-Ilim, you will need todefeat Messmer the ImpalerinShadow Keepto acquireMessmer’s Kindling. Once you have it,defeat Romina, Saint of the Budin the Church of the Bud, andburn the Sealing Tree.

First Rise

Once you have burned the Sealing Tree, a small cutscene will play, after which you will be teleported to the ‘Enir-Ilim: Outer Wall’ Site of Grace. Continue up the stairs, and you will seea Divine Bird Warrior rushing you from a narrow staircaseon the left side; there is nothing to collect here, so head up the stairway to reach the ‘First Rise’ Site of Grace.

Belurat Tower Settlement Shortcut

Head up the spiral staircase to collect aSomber Smithing Stone [5]at the end of a destroyed stairway. Return to the Site of Grace, andhead down the hallway with an elevatorat the end.

Just before the archway, collect aMessmerfire Grease.The elevator will take you to Belurat Tower Settlement— directly above the area where youfight the Divine Beast Dancing Lion.

If you attempt to come to this area after beating the Divine Beast Dancing Lion butwithout burning the Sealing Tree,you will find it blocked by a barrier.

Return to the Site of Grace, andhead up the staircase with a Summoning Pool effigy outside the doorway. You will eventually arrive in a large courtyard. Loot the body on the right for aBroken Rune, andenter the nearby room to defeat two Tree Shamans; continue up thestairs behind the tree branch to find another Tree Shamanand aRune Arc.

Jump down into the main courtyardto find a lot of Tree Shamans praying in different parts of the area.There is also a Greater Tree Shaman roaming around. Once you have killed everything, loot aRevered Spirit Ash, fourBudding Horn, and twoLightningproof Pickled Liverfrom the area.

Exploring The Hidden Section

Near the fountain, you will finda slightly obscure stairway heading down; follow the path, and you will see a few Man-Flies near threeWhiteflesh Mushroom. Near the left side of the tree (next to the stairway) you will see two more Man-Flies near eightThin Beast Bones.

Climb the tree branch on the opposite sideto get fourRedflesh Mushroom.Enter the room where three Man-Flies are prayingto a tree (one will attempt to land on you from the top) to collect twoRevered Spirit Ashfrom the statue; after that, return to the courtyard.

Spiral Rise

Once you return to the courtyard,head up the stairway to defeat a few more Tree Shamans; a little ahead, you will seea Horned Warrior facing a tree. Instead of going there,jump on the tree roots on the rightto find threeFurlcalling Finger Remedyand theSpiranext to a Tree Shaman praying to a statue on an isolated platform.

Retrace your steps to deal with the Horned Warrior, pick up aDragonbolt Greasenearby, andhead up a long stairway to deal with two Tree Mages— to deal with the second one from this area, you will need to use something that has a lot of range. Continue up the stairway to find 10Fire Arrow, 10Golden Bolt, and aScadutree Fragmentnext to the ‘Spiral Rise’ Site of Grace.

Euporia Weapon Location

From the ‘Spiral Rise’ Site of Grace,return to the area where you killed the first Tree Mage. You will find aDrawstring Golden Greaseon the right side — when coming down from the Site of Grace.

Nowhead down the stairs on the left side,and jump down another stairwayto get twoFireproof Pickled Liver. If you turn back towards the broken railings, you should see a place to drop.

Thiollier’s gear acquired after completing his entire questline and defeating the final boss in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Simply walk off the edge,and jump down another level,then continue along the ledges to collect aHolyproof Pickled Liver.Just before this item is a broken section where you can walk offfor twoSmithing Stone [8].

Keep on walking along the ledgeuntil you see another spot to jump down. Collect 10Lordsworn’s Bolt, andjump down until you land on a staircasewhere a Shadow Undead will try to ambush you. Grab aSomber Smithing Stone [5]from behind the small fountain, and aFireproof Pickled Liverat the base of the stairs.

Look to your right to find an open window that you can jump throughto reachBelurat Tower Settlementonce again. Immediately after heading out of the area, you will need to deal with a Spider Scorpion and collect aScadutree Fragmentfrom the base of the statue.

This is where you will find two elevators.The smaller one will take you back to Enir-Ilim, whilethe bigger one will lead to a new areawith three Tree Shamans and a Horned Warrior.

A little ahead,you will find another elevator that will lead you to a roomcontaining theEuporia. Once done, return to the ‘Spiral Rise’ Site of Grace.

Cleansing Chamber Anteroom

Head up the spiral staircase, and you will see an opening with a Tree Mage;continue along the rooftops to deal with some Gravebirds,and you will also find twoSmithing Stone [8]on the rooftop to your immediate right.Move through the rooftops to come across a Gravebird outside a room, and a Tree Shaman patrolling the area; deal with them to collect aRevered Spirit Ashfrom the room.

This is the same Tree Mage that we see while getting to the ‘Spiral Rise’ Site of Grace.

After collecting it,head up a few stairs and jump down onto a broken staircasewith aSilver Horn Tenderat the end. After that, enter the room behind to find theHorned Warrior Ashes, aStanching Boluses, and twoNeutralizing Boluses.

Head up the nearby ladderfor aGolden Horn Tender, and thenanother ladder to reach the area where you will fight a Horned Warrior that deals Frost damage.

There is a room here with aScadutree Fragment, and twoSunwarmth Stonetucked in a corner where you fought the Horned Warrior.

Jump through the open windows,and head down the stairsto find theGravebird Helmon a platform.Drop onto the elevator but instead of using it,head down the stairs through a small room to fight a Cursebladeand aSomber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stoneat the base of the broken staircase.

Use the elevator to deal with two Tree Shamans and a Horned Warrior that drops theHorned Warrior’s Greatsword.Unlike other Horned Warriors,this one does not respawn. Continue forward to reach the ‘Cleansing Chamber Anteroom’ Site of Grace.

Leda And Her Allies

To progress forward, you will need todefeatNeedle Knight Leda and her allies. Her allies includeRedmane Freyja,Dryleaf Dane,Hornsent,Ansbach, andMoore. However,it entirely depends on the choices you made during the campaignthat determine who will appear in the confrontation.

Redmane Freyja

Deliver the letter from Ansbach to have her join Leda. If you do not do it, you will be able to summon her yourself.

Always sides with Leda.

Hornsent

Summon him against Messmer The Impaler and help him when he is invaded by Leda.

Ansbach

Deliver the Secret Rite Scroll to him. Do not do it if you wish to summon him yourself.

Moore

Tell him to ‘Put it Behind You’ at the ‘Main Gate Cross’ Site of Grace. If you tell him to ‘Remain Sad Forever’, he will not join Leda.

If you havecompleted Thioller’s quest, you will be able to summon him as an ally. Once you have defeated everyone, you will be able to loot these items:

Final Boss
