Beware of getting the Scarlet Rot effect in the area, it’s better to avoid puddles, and stick to solid ground sideways, as you make your way to the boss.

Romina will inflict theScarlet Rot statuson you, so make sure that you are prepared to deal with that.Keep some Preserving Boluseswith you that can help you reduce the effects of rot. The Erdtree’s Favour Talisman will also increase your maximum HP, making you much more formidable.

The Immunizing Horn Charm will boost your immunity, and it works well especially to reduce rot effects. You can alsouse the Incantation Flame, Cleanse Meto cure rot. You can use the Incantation with any build, as it only requires 12 Faith to use and doesn’t cost a lot of FP.

Romina isvulnerable to FrostandBleed, so verify to equip the gear necessary to inflict her with these effects. You can also damage her greatly by using Magic and Holy attacks. You might have a hard time defeating her with physical attacks, so make sure to allocate a good number of flasks to restore your FP in the battle to deal elemental damage.

To inflict Frost on Romina,Icerind HachetandDarkmoon Greatsword, are excellent weapons, but you can use any weapon that will cause frost buildup. We also recommend you equip Divine Beast Frost Stomp, and Hoarfrost Stomp Ashes on your physical damage weapons.

To cause bleed buildup on Romina, we recommend you use Rivers of Blood, Morgott’s Cursed Sword, and Varre’s Bouqet as your main weapons. you’re able to also use any standard weapon with bleed affinity by applying a bleed-related Ash of War, such asBlood BladeorBloody Slash.

How To Beat Romina

You can summon Dryleaf Dane for the battle, and for additional help, we recommend you tosummon Ashes such as the Mimic Tear, or Black Knife Tiche. If you have trouble dodging, stay out of her range, as her slashes will cause Scarlet Rot to buildup when they hit you, and use Magic, or Holy Spells that can deal damage from afar, while your summons distract her.

If you are using a physical damage build, you’re able to also stagger her and deal damage while she is vulnerable. We recommend you toequip a decent Medium Shield, if you plan on taking her on in close combat. Do not attack her with Fire skills, as she is highly resistant to it.

Remembrance Of The Saint Of The Bud is obtained after defeating Rosina.

For this battle, you may use spells that take a lot of time to cast, but only use them if your summons are busy distracting her. Due to her huge hitbox, you can deal a lot of damage to her byusing sorceries such as Comet Azur, Adula’s Moonblade, and Meteorite of Astel.

For Faith builds, we recommend you toavoid Fire Incantationsas Romina is quite resistant to them. Some good options that can deal a ton of damage are Dragon Communion Incantations, or the Ancient Dragon’s Lightning Strike.

you’re able to reduce your spell-casting time by using Radagon Icon Talisman

Phase One

Romina takes a short while to come nearer to you, this is your chance tosummon one of your Ashes. She will hit you with her glowing red spear twice, roll backwards to avoid this attack. Romina might follow it up with two hits from her stings. You can also try hitting her from behind if you are using a physical build, while she focuses on attacking your summon.

Beware of her grab attackas it can be lethal, she will extend one of her stings towards you and wrap you in it. This attack inflicts a lot of Rot and may one-shot you. She will also roll towards you after enclosing herself in her appendages, she will follow up this attack with a slash from her sword, so dodge by rolling sideways.

Romina’s single sting attackorslash attackis quite easier to dodge by rolling. However, you might want to avoid her dangerous combos, which she would often do during the boss battle. She will do two slashes, followed by a sting attack forward, and then gets near you for an additional hit.

To avoid this, you need to roll in the direction of the slashes as they are about to hit you. As she raises one of the appendages to attack, you need toquickly roll towards the opposite direction. When she closes in on you for a final hit, roll quickly towards her, away from her spear to avoid the attack. She may sometimes smash her sting from above on the ground, and you can evade it by moving away from it.

Phase Two

As Romina transitions to Phase two, she will grow Butterfly Wings, which means that you should now be ready todeal with her aerial attacks. Most of the attack combos, other than air combos during this phase, are similar to the first phase of the boss battle, and you may avoid them with similar techniques. However, this phase might get a bit harder to beat if you are using a melee build.

Romina will summon a swarm of butterfliesaround the battlefield, they will explode, inflicting rot on you. Try to get far away from these butterflies, before they detonate. She might hit you with an additional attack, while she has scattered the butterflies around.

Romina will fly around in a swirling motion, hitting the ground three times. To avoid this, you can either stay away from her or perform a roll as she is about to hit the ground. The boss will also slam the ground hard, which will deal a lot of damage. You need to steer clear of the attack’s range and go as far as possible before she hits the ground, or you can avoid it by jumping or rolling at the correct timing.
