The first major boss fight inFlintlock: The Siege of Dawnis against Rammuha, the god that has taken over Three Peaks. A little preparation goes a long way in defeating her, but she has enough surprises up her sleeve to catch you off guard no matter what.
Defeating Rammuha requires a mix of all the abilities you’ve learned up to this point. Precision timing is especially important, and it’s easy to take damage just from making a small mistake. If Rammuha is dancing circles around you, follow this guide to match her steps and end her reign.

Best Build For Fighting Rammuha
The most important piece of equipment for the fight against Rammuha is theJudge’s Hammer, which is obtained after completing the side questA Shot In The Dark. The Hammer is slower and has fewer combo strikes than Nor’s other melee weapons, but itdeals additional damage against armor. This is important, since Rammuha is covered head-to-toe in steel for most of the fight.
Your other equipment slots are a matter of preference, but you may get good results byequipping the Sapper’s Gauntlets and Sapper’s Helmet. The Gauntlets allow you to regain black powder charges when Enki attacks, and the Helmetincreases pistol damage when you have full ammo.Equipping both also triggers the set bonus, which allows you to recover black powder charges faster overall.
The Sapper’s Helmet works especially well with theMarauder’s Pistol. Since it only has one shot, it always gets the damage bonus, and you can easily reload by landing a few hits with your melee weapon and Enki. Upgrade both at least once before the fight for best results.
While it’s not a necessity, theRaw Cursed Rubyallows Enki to debuff Rammuha’s armor and make her slightly easier to stun, which will make the fight smoother. Lastly, theRipper Grenadeinflicts Bleed, which ignores armor and can be a great way to start the fight.
How To Beat Rammuha
Rammuha makes combo attacks with her three swords - if she hits you once, you’re able to expect her to follow up. You can use this to your advantage, though - if you don’t manage to parry the first strike in a combo, you’ll be in a great position to parry the second. Watch for Rammuha to hop as she raises her sword - that’s the indication that a three-strike combo is incoming.
Rammuha almost always follows her unblockable pirouette with a standard combo - dodge the spin and be ready to parry.
Whenever you successfully parry an attack from Rammuha, she will make two counterattacks, each slightly faster than the previous strike.Parrying both counters allows you to execute a finisher that deals high damage. This will be yourmain source of damage against Rammuha.
Attack frequently with Enki, more for the powder recovery from the Sapper’s Gauntlets than to build up Rammuha’s Prime Gauge - her meterautomatically fills with each third of her health that she loses. After the first Priming, Rammuhaadds a spin combo attack to her repertoire. It can be parried, and always ends with a telegraphed double overhead strike that’s easy to time for. The second time Rammuha is Primed, sheloses her armor.Switch to an axe for faster melee attacks from that point on.
Rammuha usually has gaps between her attacks, so as long as you stay ready to dodge or shoot, you’re able to get some melee hits in between parries.
Rammuha’s lightning attacks become more frequent as she progresses through her phases. Dodge frequently and keep moving, and you should be able to avoid the worst of them. For the rest, apistol shot can interrupt her casting.
When Rammuha runs out of health, Enki will temporarily restrain her. While he does so,you need to shoot her to destroy her for good.If you don’t do so within a few seconds, she’ll recover health and force you to repeat the third phase of the fight. Once your shot lands, a cutscene will play and you’ll be able toloot a powerful new Curse Stone for Enki.
