How To Get The Feeding Frenzy Support Gem
There are two main ways to get the Feeding Frenzy Support gem. The first method requires you tocomplete a fairly short quest that is optional, while the second method is included as part of the main story. Below, you can find descriptions of both methods.
You may get Feeding Frenzy Support as arandom drop, but this isn’t reliable if you are looking for it.

First Method (Act Three Acquisition)
The first way to get the Feeding Frenzy Support gem is tocomplete the quest ‘A Fixture of Fate’.This is an optional quest thattakes place in Act Three and requires you to search for the Archives, which can only be accessed byinteracting with a candlein the Library (which isconnected to the Imperial Gardens).
Within the Archives, you will then need togather four Golden Pages.Like most other areas in Path of Exile, their placement is random;you will just need to search for them yourself. After the four pages have been obtained, you canhead back to the library to speak with Siosa.

If you are aWitch, Templar, or Scion, you can also purchase this from Clarissa once the quest is complete (at the Sarn Encampment) or as a quest reward for completing ‘A Fixture in Fate’.
Once this is done, he will become a gem vendor, butit’s important to note that he remains in the Library;you will need to visit this area in order to purchase the Feeding Frenzy Support gem.

Second Method (Act Six Acquisition)
The second way to get the Feeding Frenzy Support gem is toproceed into Part Two and complete Fallen From Grace, which is thefirst quest in Act Six.After this is completed, you can simplypurchase the gem from Lilly Roth.
What Does Feeding Frenzy Do?
Feeding Frenzycan only support skills that create minions. When supporting a suitable skill, your minions will have a25 percent chance to grant Feeding Frenzy to you. This percentage can increase up to 44 percent.
This is a buff thatincreases minion damage, attack, cast speed, and movement speed, which will last for four seconds. This is the base time, but it can increase up to around six seconds.
Once this buff is active,it will apply to all minions under your control.
Additionally, minions with this support gem will be aggressive, which means that their primary goal is to attack and kill.
When To Use The Feeding Frenzy Support Gem
While Feeding Frenzy can be paired alongside any minion skill, there are some pairings that work especially well. This includesminions that don’t have short lifespans. For example, if you only summon minions that will disappear quickly, then the buff may not make a difference, asthere will be no other minions left to buff.
Additionally, if you only have a maximum of one minion that can be summoned, you may not feel the effects as strongly as if you had several under your control.
It’s important to highlight thatthis buff does not apply to you! While you’re able to indirectly reap the benefits of this buff by having stronger minions, your own attacks will not increase in power or speed.
The best way to use this support gem is topair it with a secondary minion. For example, your ‘main’ minion could be something like a Golem, which serves as the minion that deals the most amount of damage. Pair this one with a different/strong support gem, whileputting Feeding Frenzy on another minion. When the secondary minion triggers Feeding Frenzy, your main minion(s) will get the buff.
With this, it basically means thatyour main minion is getting the benefits from two support gems at the same time.Overall, this isn’t a gem that you can focus an entire build around, but it definitelycomes in handy if you like to have multiple types of minions going at the same time.
