to plant, you will need seeds. You canobtain seeds from cropsyou find around the world. Harvest the different fruits, vegetables, berries, and herbs in order to obtain their seeds for you to plant at home.

Once you have the seeds you want to plant,place a planting spot somewhere in your territory.Loamy Soilcan be crafted right after unlocking the Planting Memetic. It only needseight Boiled Waterandthree Spoiled Food.

you may alsouse a Planter Boxfor a more organized look. This alsoincreases the quality of the soil, which causes your crop to grow faster. You can unlock the Memetic for thisafter unlocking Compost Bins.

Spoiled Food

Once you plant your seeds, you’ll be able to start growing them. You will need toensure that they are getting enough water and lightfor them to grow.

You canpress ‘F’ on your cropto see its levels of Irrigation and Lighting. You can see what the optimal level of each is for your crops bytaking note of the blue areas on the bars.

Ensure that theIrrigation and Lighting levels of your crops remain in the blue areasof each bar to maintain its health and keep it growing as best as possible.

To keep irrigation levels in the blue, you canwater your plants with any type of wateryou have in your bag. You can also do so automatically byusing theAutomatic Irrigation Facility.

With the facility, you’ll be able toset the target irrigation level. You will need to connect it to an energy source for it to keep functioning. It will needtwo watts of powerto start.

To keep the lighting levels up, you canuse a Grow Light. This requiresone watt of power, making it cheap to have plenty.

How To Make Fertilizer

If you want to make your farming more fruitful, you canuse Fertilizerwhen you plant your seeds.

There arefour different types of special Fertilizerthat you can use, and they can be unlocked via the Memetics menu.

Fertilizer - Breeding Boost

Increases the crop’s fertility, causing it todrop more seedswhen the plant fully matures.

Increases the chances that aplant will become Deviated.

A great way to use fertilizer is touse the Fertilizer - Breeding Boost on your first set of crops. Replant the extra seed using the breeding boost. Then, use the other fertilizers on the new seed depending on what boost you’re looking for.
