As a meta-human in the world ofOnce Human, you are tasked with survival while trying to defeat Deviants and help other survivors in the region. On your journey, you will encounter a variety of enemies that will attack you on sight. Some of these enemies will even have guns or long-ranged attacks to shoot at you from afar.

Thankfully, you’re able to equip yourself with a gun to defend yourself properly. Guns may be found hidden in different locations, but you can also craft one yourself. There are various types of firearms that you can create, and you can craft one that suits your playstyle best.

How To Unlock Gun Crafting

To gain the ability to craft guns, you will need tounlock the Memeticsfor it.Head to the Crafting branchof the Memetics menu. You’ll see all the options for weapon crafting on the right side of the branch.

You’ll first need tounlockEssential Tools. This will open up the branch for theGear Workbench, which is what you’ll be using to craft weapons and armor.

Unlocking Memetics will require a certain amount ofMeme Points or CiphersandEnergy Links.

Meme Points can be earned byleveling up, completing Season Goals, andsecuring new Deviantsduring a season.

Energy Links can be acquired bycompleting tasks and clearing dungeons.

Once you have the Gear Workbench, you’ll be able tounlock the ability to craft a gun.

Other types of firearms are locked behind Memetics as well, and you will need tospend Ciphers and Energy Links for these to acquire them.

How To Craft Guns

To craft guns, you will need touse a Gear Workbench. This is a piece of furniture that you canplace on your territory.

Once you have your workbench, you’ll be able to use it to craft weapons and armor.You’ll need blueprintsto unlock the recipes of each piece of gear.

Don’t forget that you’ll also needammo for your weapons. These can be crafted using theSupplies Workbench.

How To Get Gun Blueprints

Blueprints for your guns can be acquired byfinding the entire blueprintyourself or byfusing blueprint fragments. There are different ways to obtain these.

How To Get Gun Blueprints From The Memetics Menu

You can find several blueprints byunlocking the different branches under theGear Workbenchin the Memetics menu.

This will require Meme Points or Ciphers and Energy Links to unlock, and the gear you can get from here arebasic types.

It’s important to unlock these at some point so that you canobtain more complex workbenches.

How To Get Gun Blueprints From Mystical Crates

Another way to find new gear blueprints and fragments is byopening Mystical Crates. These are special chests scattered around the map. There is oftenat least one in an area.

If you want to find numerous Mystical Crates quickly,open up your map with ‘M’. Search forRift Anchor iconsacross the region. These Rift Anchors are often in areas infested with enemies.

Head for the Rift Anchor location. When you’re within the area’s radius, you’ll see a list of available tasks in the upper-left corner of your screen. One of the tasks will be tofind a Mystical Crate.

Oftentimes, the Mystical Crate will be in anarea that’s difficult to reach. Keep an eye out forrooftops and the top floorsof buildings. They tend to be placed in those spots.

How To Get Gun Blueprints From The Wish Machine

TheWish Machineis a piece of furniture that you can place on your territory. Like the Gear Workbench, it can beunlocked in the Memetics menu.

The Wish Machine can be foundunder theVending Machinein the Logistics branchof the Memetics menu.

The Wish Machine is one way you may unlock weapon blueprints.You’ll need to use Starchromin order to obtain them.

There is aBlueprint Shopthat you can access bypressing ‘G’while standing in front of the Wish Machine. The shop has several blueprints in stock for the different firearms available. This will requirehigh amounts of Starchrom.

You can also try your luck at getting rare blueprints bymaking a wish. Press’F’by the Wish Machine to make a wish. You canselect which category of rewardsyou’d like to wish for.

Before making a wish,check what possible rewards can be won. You can see a full list by clicking on the different categories.

It’s cheaper to make a wish instead of buying a blueprint from the shop, butyou aren’t guaranteed to get the blueprint you want.
