As you finish the opening cutscene ofConcord, you’ll be able to directly enter one of the multiplayer modes. While the game doesn’t force you to finish the tutorial, it’s still recommended to go into training and get the hang of things. Once that’s done, the first Playlist you’ll most likely queue up for is Brawl.
Concord’s multiplayer system is essentially divided into three Playlists, which are further divided into two game modes each. Brawl is one of the most important playlists to understand out of all of these since it’s the best place to get used to the game.
How Brawl Mode Works
The Brawl playlist is the simplest one to play in Concord since itonly has one objective: defeat as many enemy players as possible. As soon as you spawn in these games, you’ll have a short period where you can select your Freegunner and get things ready. After this period, you simply have to go out and fight.
The best part about this is that you don’t have to control an area or plant a bomb, which makes it much easier tofocus on the basics of the game and get used to Freegunner movementswhile finding the one you like the most.
While playing Brawl, theteam that collectively reaches the target of 30, which is displayed below the team players, wins the game.
When youqueue up for Brawl, you’re able to randomly get either the Takedown or Trophy Hunt mode. Both of them areessentially the same except that Trophy hunt has one extra step. For Takedown, your team gets a point whenever a team member defeats an enemy. However, to get a point in Trophy Hunt, you have to claim the enemy’s Bounty Card to get the point after defeating them.
This extra step changes the gameplay quite significantly since the enemy players cantake their own team member’s Bounty Card and prevent you from getting it. This incentivizes team play because if you jump into multiple enemies alone and manage to defeat a player before getting defeated, it’s likely that only enemies will get the point for it.
