Pokemon Sleephas hosted a number of special events since the launch of the sleep tracker turned Pokemon catching game. And the latest event focuses all on the growth of your partner Pokemon. While the event lasts, the members of your Sleep team will level up at a faster rate.
You’ll have an increased chance of finding Pokemon candies while they doze, snooze, and slumber, thanks to a bonus modifier. So, choose your fighters, I mean sleepers, and get ready to catch some hearty z’s so that way your Pokemon can all grow up big and strong. This guide will set you up for sleeping success.
Growth Week Event Information
This event takes placein all areasand runs fromJuly 1 through July 8. One full sleep research week.
Unlike past events, there will beno lockedrecipe typeor specially requested berriesfor Snorlax. That leaves it up to you to decide your team composition once you see what your Snorlax is demanding.
Each day of the event,two bonuses applyto your research:
Sleep EXP is how your partner Pokemon level up. The candies that the event refers to arethe ones that you obtain from Pokemon that show up while you sleep.
These arenotthe candies you earn from your friends in the Research Community tab.
Both of these bonusesonly apply to your first sleep session of the day. So, if you usually take a nap that you record through the Pokemon Sleep app, that would be the only session to receive the above benefits, not the second time your head hits the pillow for your longer good night’s rest.
There areno special missionsdesignated for this event. Instead, you only have yournormal weekly missionsto focus on completing.
Growth Week Bundle
There is one special bundle in the General Store to aid with your Pokemon Growth Week endeavors. Namedthe Pokemon Growth Bundle Vol. 1, it holds four different types of helpful items to get you going:

The bundle itselfcosts 600 diamonds(which are the purchasable in-game currency). It hasa limited stock, allowing you to onlybuy this bundle three times. And the bundle is only availableuntil the event endsonJuly 8.
Parting Event Advice
Since the name of this event is all about your Pokemon growing in levels,focus less on the berries and dishes Snorlax wantsand instead pick your research team based on Pokemonyou want to level up and evolve.
you’re able to also use this event tofocus on some of the rare Pokemonyou may have in your box that you don’t often get candies for.
This event isless about getting the highest Drowsy Powerand all aboutgetting the best sleep you can so that your Pokemon can level upquickly.
As to where you should hole up for the week,choose aresearch locationthat will give you the most candies you want.If you want to focus on Pokemon like Houndoom and Sableye, for example, then you would want to head to Taupe Hollow.
If you decide you want to switch locations, you may do so with theE-Zzz Travel Ticket. It can be purchased in theRegular Exchange with 100 Sleep Points.
So, while other events have been geared toward getting your Snorlax as fed as possible or catching a legendary Pokemon,this is all about you and your Pokemon team. Choose your team based on your own personal wants andgive in to your favoritism.
