Summary

Like all of you, we desperately want to seeBloodborneon PC at some point in our lifetimes. However, given that Bloodborne was released all the way back in 2015, and we’re now in the latter half of 2024, it seems increasingly more and more likely that, barring some kind of miracle, it’ll never happen. That said, never say never in the world of video games.

However, until then, there have been multiple attempts to bring the world of Yharnam beyond the PS4. The most recent attempt involves arguably FromSoftware’s biggest hit inElden Ring. Aptly titled “Graceborne,” it’s a mod that transforms the world of Elden Ring into that of Bloodborne. As the official Nexus Mods page states, “its main goal is to turn Elden Ring’s base game into a more grim and sinister experience through multiple means.”

Those multiple means include 22 armor sets, 35 weapons, 17 trick weapons and five firearms, and that’s just the alpha version of the mod. Additionally, key Bloodborne mechanics have made their way into the world of Elden Ring, including gun parries, healing and perma-night mode. Above all, mobs and bosses have also been overhauled to fit the mod’s goals.

Graceborne Creator Is Now Recruiting For Help

Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect of this mod, besides being some form of Bloodborne available on PC, is the fact that it’s been created by just one person. Yes, just one person. And with the mod rapidly gaining steam online, its creator is now recruiting other modders to help them flesh out their vision.

In a new video posted to YouTube, the creator, corviannoctis, shared his call for other modders to join him. In it, they stated how they knew “from the start that undertaking Graceborne’s full scope alone would be impossible.” Not only is there a call for other modders with experience with Elden Ring, but the video also mentions a need for concept artists, voice actors, composers and 3D artists, meaning Graceborne has likely only scratched the surface of its potential.

That said, this isn’t the only Bloodborne project happening.Elsewhere, the ShadPS4 emulator became the first of its kind to successfully boot up Bloodborne and make it to the character screen. The team over there is attempting to make the original Bloodborne fully accessible on PC. Praise be to the Bloodborne community.
