For those of you who want to know more about a $100 controller other than the free in-game item that it comes with, the Fortnite SE controller’s triggers have three lock settings, there are four mappable buttons on the back, and there’s a companion app that allows you to customize your layout. PowerA promises low latency when used wirelessly, key for getting the jump on rival players in Fortnite, and for those who prefer to play while physically connected to your console, a ten-foot USB-C cable is included.

Even though the controller is branded as aSeries X|Saccessory, it is compatible with theXbox Oneand also PC provided you have Windows 10 or higher. Pre-orders for the Fortnite SE controller are available now at Amazon through the link below, but it won’t ship until June 08, 2025. A little bit of time to wait, but still a full month before the Absolute Doom season ends, so plenty of time to use it to try and stop Dr. Doom wiping out every last Marvel hero and villain on the island.
