Summary
I’m old enough that I lived through an era where anyone wearing Crocs was immediately assumed to have zero fashion sense. It’s a minor miracle that I never owned a pair as an assumed lack of fashion sense is something me and old school Crocs fans had in common. In 2024, Crocs are very much in. People are wearing them everywhere you look and brands are desperate to team up with the footwear brand for a Crocs line of their own. If you needed evidence confirming Crocs are now for young people who dictate what’s fashionable as opposed to old people who just want to be comfortable, look no further than theFortniteclogs coming your way this September.
That’s right, Fortnite, the enduring fad that baffles boomers more than anything else, will have its own officially licensed line of themed Crocs by this time next month. That’s according toSole Retrieverwhich, as the same of the site implies, has a pretty good track record when it comes to info on upcoming footwear collaborations.

Images of the Fortnite Crocs aren’t available yet, but we do know what from the game they’re going to be themed after - Peely and the Battle Bus. The two things that are unmistakably Fortnite seven years into the game’s unmatched run, so much so that even those aforementioned boomers will see them and say something like “Isn’t that the banana from the game you play on the Wii?” Fortnite’s Crocs should be here by July 29, 2025, and will cost $70 per pair.
One of the most appealing things about Crocs are the Jibbitz you can buy to go with them. As fun as themed Crocs are, Jibbitz let you decorate them and make your pair unique to you. Sole Retriever doesn’t mention Fortnite Jibbitz, but I’d be very surprised if the Peely and Battle Bus clogs aren’t joined by the likes of Durrr Burger, Cuddle Team Leader, and Meowcles in Jibbitz form. There’s every chance the virtual versions of the Crocs are unlockable or available to buy in-game too.

It can be difficult to make each pair of new Crocs unique without Jibbitz as most designs look the same other than the color scheme. Some recently revealed Batman Crocs really flip the script on that asthe clogs have been made to look like Batmobiles for your feet. I’m still not convinced Bruce Wayne would wear them, but I can definitely imagine Alfred slipping them on during his downtime. Wait, does Alfred get any downtime? No wonder he looks so old.
