Summary
There are still a lot more video games to come this year, however, it’s going to take something pretty special to make people forget aboutFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The middle chapter inSquare Enix’s remake trilogy will live long in the memory for a lot of reasons, one of the most notable being its music. The game features stunning and moving themes throughout, and now Square has revealed an album featuring orchestral versions of some of those tracks that will be released later this summer.
The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Orchestral Arrangement Album islisted now on the Japanese Square Enix store, and while there’s no guarantee it will be available elsewhere soon, Square does tend to release items in Japan first and then the US and other parts of the world shortly after. The Kingdom Hearts watch straps and earphone case coversit added to the Japanese store earlier this monthtook just a week to find their way to North America.

If you simply can’t wait for the album to potentially appear on other Square stores, you can check the Japanese listing to see if it will ship to you. Just bear in mind that shipping costs will almost certainly make it more expensive than it would be to buy from a storefront shipping from closer to home. The album is 4,070 yen which, while roughly $26, doesn’t mean it will cost the same if it’s sold in the US. The exchange rate right now likely means the album will be north of $30 if sold in North America.
An Orchestra Scoring Rebirth In The Comfort Of Your Own Home
The listing doesn’t appear to include which songs from Rebirth have made it onto the CD, although it’s probably safe to assume the likes of Tifa’s Theme and On Our Way will be on there. If you want more than just the CD, Square is alsoselling the album with a matching acrylic stand. The stand’s artwork is similar to the image on the album’s cover but the backs of the characters have been pulled out of the scenery so your album can slot neatly between the two. The album and stand set is 6,820 yen ($43). Whether buying the album alone or the whole set, the CDs are expected to ship on July 21, 2025.
It’s going to be a while until we play the third and final part of Final Fantasy 7’s remade trilogy. However, if you are into all things Final Fantasy, the wait for Dawntrail is almost over.Final Fantasy 14’s fifth expansion goes live on July 2, or June 28 if you have placed a pre-order.
