Summary
Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrailhasadded a bunch of cool little minions for you to run around with, including Garnet and Zidane from Final Fantasy 9 (which fans recently found out can interact with each other), but there’s one particular minion that is whipping up fans into a frenzy. Shortly after the game launched in early access, fans were quickly smitten by a baby Mamool Ja.
That’s mostly thanks to his little dance, cute outfit, and silly laugh when getting thrown up in the air by his father. It’s also disgustingly adorable in general. Fan art and loving tweets have been posted all over social media of this baby Mamool Ja since launch, but excitement reached new levels after fans discovered that this little guy can actually be obtained as a minion.
It’s not often that you get Final Fantasy 14 fans desperate to find a minion of all things, especially since they have pretty much no benefits besides having a cool little guy to run around with, but the love and adoration for the baby Mamool Ja has made this a special case. Unfortunately, players still aren’t quite sure how you actually get this minion, and we now have a desperate search on our hands as people hunt for a small child.
Final Fantasy 14 Fans Are Going Wild For Dawntrail’s Baby Mamool Ja
Right now, the only clue we have to obtain this minion is fromthe Final Fantasy 14 wiki. It’s called the Wind-Up Mamool Ja, and the minion’s description explains that it can be picked up by a retainer during a venture, though specifically which venture is still unclear. It’s speculated that it could be from a level 100 long-term venture, since we still haven’t found it yet and there aren’t that many people that have reached that point. Thankfully, it can also be bought on the Market Board, so we could see it there in the next couple of weeks too.
If you don’t want to spend a fortune on a minion, which this Wind-Up Mamool Ja will almost definitely cost you, you’ll just have to get your retainers to level 100 as quickly as possible and send them on as many ventures as you can. Hopefully, one of them will bring back a small child for you, though it’s best not to think too hard about where they got it.
