Summary
As expensive as it can be to play everything you want, there are also more games available via subscription services or in some cases entirely free than ever before. Falling into that latter category starting right now is the Fallout Classic Collection.Epicis back to give you games for free in an attempt to lure you away fromSteamand start using its storefront forPCgaming instead, and this week one of its free games is a big one.
That’s partly because it’s technically three games. The Fallout Classic Collection is the first three games in the series bundled together. No, that doesn’t includeFallout 3. The collection is made up ofFallout, Fallout 2, andFallout Tactics: Brotherhood Of Steel. The collection hasn’t been available to buy through Epic before, but buying the three games via the storefront individually costs $29.97, so you can save yourself almost $30 by claiming them for free between now and September 5.

This isn’t a subscription service situation where the games will disappear at a later date. There’s no catch, once you’ve claimed the collection, it is yours to keep, even if you have never or will never buy a game from theEpic Games Storeagain.
Whether you have fallen in love with Fallout via Amazon’s adaptation or you’ve played the modern Fallout games and you want to experience more, you should take note of what the games included in the Classic Collection actually are. While they are set in the same universe as Fallout 3 and beyond, they’re a lot older and therefore very different visually. They’re top-down and Brotherhood Of Steel, in particular, will be very different from any Fallout experience you’ve had before.

Fallout Classic Collection
WHERE TO PLAY
The Fallout Classic Collection takes you back to the very beginning of the series in the late 1990s by bundling its first three games together - Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood Of Steel.
As if three Fallout games in one collection wasn’t enough, Epic is giving away another free game this week -Wild Card Football. I know I’m not the only one for whom Madden has grown stale, and despite its early success, the return of College Football to video games isn’t for everyone. Wild Card Football is an arcade-style game that throws power-ups into the mix that might be the answer to your football game woes. Or it might not be, but it’s free, so why not give it a shot?
