There are many systems and mechanics at play inStar Wars Outlaws, with earning Reputation for Factions being amongst the most important, as they offer some of the best rewards in the game, making them crucial to always be mindful of, especially if you’re on the verge of making one peeved at you.
If you play your cards right, you’re able to be in outstanding standing with all four Factions in the game, giving you access to all the goodies you could ask for. But, that will be a bit of a challenging task, as specific missions will have you choose one over the other, which can put you in temporarily poor standing with some of the Factions. But fear not. It’s not permanent and can be rectified!
What Is Reputation In Star Wars Outlaws?
Reputationis whatdictates your standing with the four Factions of Star Wars Outlawsand falls into six tiers:Terrible, Bad, Poor, Good, Excellent, and Max.Each tierdetermines how you will be treated by the Faction and can lead to unique rewardsor deals. Before we dive into what each of the factions are and what they offer, let’s go over each of the tiers in more detail with the table below!
Best Ways To Earn Reputation In Star Wars Outlaws
Thebest way to earn Reputation for Factions in Star Wars Outlaws is via Contracts,which can beaccepted through Contract Brokersfound on each planet. They arestationed in the main cantina/bar of the cityand willoffer Contracts for each of the four Factions depending on your standingwith them.
Uponcompleting these Contracts, you will often be presented with an opportunity to double-cross the Faction that hired your services.Doing this will provide you withNegative Reputation for that Faction but will grant you lots of Positive Reputation for the other Factionyou chose.
If you arein Terrible or Bad standing with a particular faction, we recommend double-crossing a Faction you’re in Excellent standing with to get out of the trencheswith them. Youwon’t lose a whole lot of Reputation for double-crossing if your standing is high enoughbut don’t make it a habit.
Additionally,progressing through the main story will also present many opportunities to earn Faction Reputation but will also tank some of the others,so be mindful of the choices that come your way if you want to be in the good graces of specific Factions!
All Faction Reputation Rewards In Star Wars Outlaws
Uponreaching specific milestoneswithin a Faction,you will be able toclaim unique rewards based on your standing.So it’scrucial to achieve Good, Excellent, and Max Reputation with every Faction at least onceto get the rewards, or you will have an uphill battle trying to get them if you tank your Reputation with them.
ReachingMax Reputationwith a Faction will give you acomplete Clothes Loadout for Kay,which offersunique Set Bonuses that are remarkably powerfuland worth obtaining. Again, we strongly recommend reaching Max Reputation with every Faction at least once to get these items!
