Abilities are a crucial aspect ofStar Wars Outlaws. They allow Kay to learn unique actions that will help her tremendously as she attempts to put together a crew for the big heist. However, there is one catch: You must first meet an Expert before gaining access to their Abilities, which can take a bit of time and effort.
There are a total of nine Experts in the game, and most of them are gated by your main story progress, eventually giving you access to their Expert Intel Quest, which you must complete to gain access to their Abilities. From there, you must complete specific challenges to unlock the abilities, which can require even more time and effort. But rest assured, it is well worth it!
The Bartender - Bram Shano
Bram ShanoisThe Bartender Expertand the default Expert in Star Wars Outlaws. He allowed Kay to live in the attic of his Broken Hoof bar in Canto Bight and cares about her deeply. However, after a turn of events, Kay must flee the planet and start her adventure.
HisAbilities focus on Lockpicking, distraction, and other basic combat systems,making it a perfect Ability Tree to focus on in the early goings of your journey. The table below will highlight every Ability, what they do, and how to obtain them!
Fast-Talk
If spotted, Kay can delay the guard’s reaction by distracting them.
Keep Talking
Kay can distract multiple enemies if spotted, delaying all their reactions.

Sheoffers excellent and crucial upgrades for Kay’s Speeder,so we recommend grabbing her services the moment they become available. You can see everything she offers and more in the table below!

The Slicer - Aila Bren

This willsubstantially enhance Kay’s Slicing Tool and is a must-havefor your adventure. We recommendgaining access to The Slicer’s Abilities as soon as possible,especially if you like to hack into stuff and explore areas you shouldn’t be in. You can find her complete Ability list below!

Enemies caught inside the Smoke Bomb will now be temporarily staggered.
Noise generated from walking and sprinting is halved.
The Scavenger - Temmin Wexley

Ion Smoke Bomb
Devices and Droids caught inside the Smoke Bomb will now be temporarily disrupted.
Assisted Scavenging
Nix now searches Containers alongside Kay, finding extra items and materials.
The Veteran - MT-7
MT-7is an odd one, as you must firstopen yellow containers while in orbit in hopes of obtaining Encrypted CIS Transmissions,whichND-5 will triangulateand pinpoint. Uponfinding enough of them,you will receive anExpert Intel Questto track titled ‘The Veteran.’ Head to thenew docking point in Akivato begin the quest and unlock his services.
While there isno specific location where you will find these Encrypted CIS Transmissions,you willalways find them in yellow containers while in orbit.We recommendgoing to every planet’s orbit, pinging the surrounding area, and looting all the cratesnearby until you gather enough. You can learn everything he offers in the table below!

The Mercenary - Rooster Trace
Rooster Traceis next in line and isThe Mercenary Expert.Shebecomes available the moment you land on Kijimifor the first timeduring’The Droidsmith’ Main Quest. Once here,head to the Domak Refectory and speak with the bartenderto begin theExpert Intel Questtitled ‘The Mercenary.‘Complete that to gain access to her Abilities.
Trace’s Abilitiesprimarily focus on enabling you to use heavy weaponry in combat,allowing you topick up more weapons off the groundto use when in action. But she also offers more powerful combat-focused Abilities, which you can learn all about below!

Quint CresaddeisThe Gunslinger Expertand becomesavailable aftercompleting ‘The Heavy’ Main Quest. Upon completing that quest, you will gainExpert Intelabout ‘The Gunslinger’ inMos Eisley.Follow this lead and questline to unlock her services.
As you likely guessed,Quint’s Abilities center around your Blaster and how to use it more effectively,making it worth seeking out if you want to be more proficient with the Blaster in combat. you may see everything else she offers in the table below!
Adrenaline Rush Mastery
Kay can now mark more enemies and even objects during Adrenaline Rush.
The Better
Elite Enemies can now be targeted twice during Adrenaline Rush, instantly killing them.
The Hotfixer - Teeka
TeekaisThe Hotfixerand our next Expert andbecomes available duringthe ‘Jabba’s Favor’ Main Quest. When progressing through this quest,ND-5 will mention wanting to upgrade the Trailblazersince it is grounded, allowing you to start’The Hotfixer’Expert Intel Quest.Follow this questline and complete it to unlock her services.
Our little Jawa Scavenger friend hereoffers excellent upgrades for the Trailblazer,making her servicesa must-have if you like to explore space and get into battleswhile traversing through orbit. She also has other excellent Abilities, which you’re able to find below!
Improved Grenade
Grants a 50 percent increase to the Grenade’s blast radius and damage.
Magnetic Dice
Grants Kay weighted dice to cheat in a game of Sabacc.
Cheeky Explosion
Kay can now command Nix to pull the pin on holstered enemy Grenades.
M’Gasha
Merchant prices substantially decrease, and Kay receives ten percent more Credits when selling items.
The High Roller - Lando Calrissian
Last but certainly not least is our beloved rebel,The High Roller Expert, Lando Calrissian.His services can be had when youarrive on Akiva for the first time.Once here,head to the Cantina and speak with the bartenderto begin theExpert Intel Quest’The High Roller.‘Like the others, follow this questline and complete it to obtain his services.
Lando’sAbilities primarily focus on unlocking more ways to cheat in Sabacc,but he also has someunique Abilities for the Trailblazerthat will come in handy. you may learn about everything he’s capable of in the table below!
Kay can now cheat and draw twice during Kessel Sabacc.
Roll Maneuver
Kay can now perform a strafing Dodge Roll in the Trailblazer.
Shoot First
Shooting an enemy while not in combat will deal extra damage.
Ask Later
Landing a shot or nearly missing during Hip-Fire Mode will generate more Adrenaline.
Gain immense amounts of Adrenaline during Fast-Talk or Arrest sequences.
